Stayed here one night. Staff at check in were pleasant and helpful.

Room was clean and well laid out with a view over looking the highway. Road noise was low.

Like with all hotel rooms here I find the rooms are very warm at night even with a window open. They provide a hefty duvet when all is needed is a light top sheet. If you are a very sensitive sleeper I would strongly suggest bringing your own pillow as pillows are often very soft and puffy and also get very warm when sleeping on. I asked for a medium pillow and they had none.

I found this bed comfortable for my back. I had an ok sleep.

The morning breakfast set a record for best food spread. I was able to try a number of local items like sardines and herring and marinated salmon as well as a shrimp and egg salad.

Location was easy to find and get to as well. There is also ample free parking in front and out back.

Yes... I would recommend...

We ordered 2 set dinner and 2 a la carte. The set dinner includes an appetizer, soup, main course and dessert. They also serve bread with whipped butter topped with sea salt, goes well with the soup. The arctic char appetizer is the best dish, perfect with the sauce and perfectly tender and flaky. The lobster soup has a good amount of lobster, super creamy but a bit too salty. The lamb is served with a more traditional cut of lamb plus a more seasoned grilled piece of lamb, both tender and flavorful. The a la carte cod is probably the worst, no surprises and the sauces didn't match with the fish, a bit disappointed. Final course is the crème burlee, not a hugh portion but the crème burlee is so smooth and creamy and matches really well with the tarte sorbert. Staff are all very friendly and nice environment. Situated inside the...

Really disappointed in this one. For a place that claims to specialize in lamb and reindeer steak I am surprised that they have neither. The digital display in the hotel mentions this. (See attached pictures.)

The Google information from the owner states this as well. And yet, we drive to get here for dinner and find that two of the three things they specialize in simply do not exist on their menu. They have one fish option (cod) so I suppose it counts as "fish" but I naively thought more than one type may be available. Very disappointing.

The hotel and restaurant staff were friendly and apologized, stating they also have mentioned updating the info and haven't had success getting management to update things.

Eating here regardless as it has been a very long travel day, but a lousy way to end it. Too tired to try and find any...
