My recent visit to this restaurant was a major disappointment, and I cannot in good conscience recommend it to anyone. While the food was undoubtedly delicious, the overall experience was marred by significant issues with hygiene and cleanliness, which were deeply concerning.
Upon arriving at the restaurant, my friends and I were initially excited to try the cuisine. Unfortunately, our excitement quickly turned into dismay when we were served water that was visibly dirty and had some disturbing insects floating in it. It was an immediate red flag, and our concerns only grew from there.
To our utter shock and disgust, one of my friends discovered worms in their food, and they also had worms in the water they had been served. This was not only unappetizing but also potentially hazardous to our health. At this point, we decided to investigate further and requested to see the kitchen.
The kitchen visit revealed an appalling state of affairs. The water used for cooking was, indeed, contaminated with dirty bugs, which was unacceptable. Knowing that they were preparing food with such unsanitary water left us feeling extremely upset and concerned for our health.
As visitors from Kerala, we expected a reasonable level of hygiene and safety standards. Unfortunately, this restaurant fell far short of those expectations. In fact, our experience was so unsatisfactory that I felt compelled to share a video of their kitchen, highlighting the dire conditions, in the hope that it would serve as a warning to others.
In light of these issues, I can only give this restaurant one star, and that's solely for the taste of the food. However, the health risks and overall experience outweigh any culinary pleasures we may have briefly enjoyed. I strongly advise against trying the food at this restaurant until they address these serious cleanliness and hygiene concerns. It's simply not worth the risk to your health...

All of them are Malayalees, and even the cook is from Kerala, so you get that real homely touch.
We tried their chicken biriyani, appam, chiratta puttu, and chicken curry. Except for the appam, which could have been better, everything else was really tasty and authentic.
To all our non-Kerala friends: if you want to experience true Kerala-style meals, biriyani, or curries, this is the place to go. Donโt get misled by other places calling themselves โKerala Hotelโ or โSouth Indian Restaurantโ โ most of them are not authentic. Here, youโll get the real...
