Devaragam is easily one of the most sought-after and aesthetically designed pure vegetarian restaurants in Tirumala. With very few fine-dine options available on the hill, this place stands out for its ambience, brand appeal, and consistent crowd – which speaks volumes about its popularity and quality.
Even though I couldn’t get a chance to dine here (the wait time was just too long), I still feel compelled to write this review based on the atmosphere, staff behavior, and the general buzz around the place. I visited on a weekday and was surprised to find that the waiting time was over an hour, even for breakfast. On weekends, locals told me it can go up to two hours or more – that’s how in demand this restaurant is!
The exterior and interior of Devaragam are both extremely well-maintained. The ambience is classy, peaceful, and spiritual, in line with Tirumala’s overall divine energy. It feels like a perfect place to sit down for a relaxing, high-quality meal after darshan. The waiting area is clean and organized, though not enough to handle the massive footfall.
Though I wasn’t able to try the food this time, several people I spoke to while waiting highly recommended the South Indian thali and breakfast items, praising both taste and portion size. The restaurant is run professionally, and the service appears prompt once you are seated.
Tip: Try to visit during odd hours or as early as possible in the morning to avoid long wait times. Even though I didn’t get to eat here, Devaragam looks and feels like the best vegetarian dining experience Tirumala has to offer. I’ll definitely plan better next time...

Read more🚨 Disappointing Experience 🚨
The food was great and served on time, but the overall experience was ruined by poor service and what seemed like a dishonest act. The waiter took an unusually long time to even come and take our order. When the bill arrived (₹1047), we placed ₹1050 inside the bill book — two ₹500 notes and one ₹50 note. All three of us double-checked the amount before closing it.
Shockingly, no one came to collect the book while we were seated. Only after we exited the restaurant, a staff member approached us, falsely claiming that we had only placed one ₹500 note. This felt like a deliberate scam, possibly preying on inattentive customers.
Mind it, It was done by a female counterpart..
Very disappointing and unacceptable behavior. Be cautious if you choose to dine here. ⚠️ Always double-check your payments! ⚠️
Ps- Restaurant WAITER/CASHIER if you are reading this and if you think we are at fault here, then all the best to you.. Because we are not the type of people to do such act anywhere and not at God's Place .. The 500 amount is nominal.. PLEASE PUT DONATION FOR THE SAME if you have realised you...
