First of all it's not personal to anyone so please treat the review as a genuine one and professional. I ordered veg food (paneer biryani and cashew paneer), taste seemed ok but slightly over priced menu considering the location as parking is a challenge. Because they already served thali and some other items in the old outlet at a cheaper price. The next part which I faced is tips, seems like tips is mandatory in all restaurants. Yes, if someone is happy with the service, tips can be given but here it's more of demanding. There are many other people working for society (eg. a security guard from D Mart standing under sun 24*7 and managing the cars, we don't give them tips) but serving food in a restaurant under a chilled climate doesn't demand much stress so I think the taboo of giving tips in restaurant just for serving can be changed. Ideally if a person goes to this restaurant 30 days and pays Rs. 10 per day the amount is 300 almost equal to a fresh meal. Rest is ok, and again my intention was not anything personal but my independent review. I would like the old Kalyani much better. And today's business demands parking space...
Read moreInitially we went Kalyani grand and they suggested the stuffed chicken as most ordered dish so we have ordered the same, along with white rice and fish curry. The chicken was good but the rice and fish curry was served cold I thought as we went at 3:15 PM might be the closing time of restaurant that's why the food might not be served properly as I didnt went on proper time. Later on second visit we have went at 7:30PM early they have disappointed completely ordered the same special dish(chicken not cooked properly it was still raw in middle that too served as cold later complaining they replaced and given new chicken pieces served hot) along with 2 biriyanis(fry piece and Mughlai biriyani) this too served cold. The fry piece chicken biriyani the chicken pieces was not good at all completely given bones no flesh and its roasted like black color and Mughlai biriyani was not up to the mark. When we visit any restaurant we want to eat hot served dishes not cold served dishes.
Pros: Ambience
Cons: Food should served hot and...
Read moreOne of the worst restaurants I have ever visited! If it is crowded, they tuck ppl in congested place on upstairs where servers roam between tables by disturbing us.. Very slow service, one should wait and watch empty plates and each and every time we need to seek their attention for rice etc..
Along with veg thali they serve a little quantity of colour rice by the name of SPECIAL RICE which is bitter in taste! Never try prawns here, they charge 5 star hotel rates for bland food.. Really high price for tasteless food and top of it, we have to step out with a gut feeling..! One should check the bill thoroughly if they billed us correctly..
They think that no one question or raise their voice in-front of other customers as nobody would want to get noticed by others, I wouldn’t suggest this place to anyone for their pathetic service, high rates and...
