South Indian Canteen is the main canteen serving to the majority of devotees' need for food. It is Vegetarian and food served at very very affordable rates.
In the morning brake fast is served. Nearly two to three varieties will be available. In addition coffee, tea, milk will be available. Each serving will be of Rs 6.00 As per my experience 12 rs for brake fast and 6 rs for a coffee etc will sufficiently fill the stomach. So it comes to Rs 18.00 only. For this brake fast coupons of rs 6/- each to be purchased.
For lunch and dinner south Indian unlimited meals is at rs 10/- only. During lunch and dinner in one more section Chapati, some sweet, sides for Chapatis etc will be served for which brakefast coupons will do.
By the side of South Indian Canteen there is a Laddu counter, where laddus are sold for which sweets coupons of rs 6/- for each to be purchased.
In addition free lunch (south indian) is arranged. For this a free tokan of the day will be issued daily to those who go for Baba's Samadhi Darshan.
In addition there are Western Canteen and North Indian Canteen to serve to different taste buds of devotees coming from far off places. A kiosk is there where Ragi ball, Rava idli etc are served.

Read moreCheapest Canteen in puttaparthi inside Sai Baba's mandir. One needs to buy coupon first from coupon counter situated opposite to the canteen and then have food. Males and females will have to sit separate in separate canteen as everywhere as a rule inside the mandir. One can have meal in Rs15 with Rice sambar rasa and sabzi. People can buy extra items each costing Rs 8 other than the items in main menu like curd rice, other sabzi, etc. Spoons are not available inside and one has to take his meal by hand only. However the food is very tasty and MUST try for everyone. Some not all items will be spicy. Curd rice is a must Try. The ambiance is a bit crowded but disciplined. There is usual rush during the peak hours of breakfast, lunch and dinner however if one comes a bit early can enjoy the tasty food. Like everywhere the canteens are run by seva dal people ( devotees and volunteers who come for free service to the mandir from all...
