Baker's Special — Restaurant in Assam

Yesterday (22-December-22) was our Ma's Birth Anniversary. She passed away in July, 2021. Even then we visit our Ma's Ghar to celebrate. Even with a severe sprain on my left leg I went to get a cake from Baker's Special (Repose Foods Pvt Ltd) at Beltola and had asked if it was fresh or not. Once I got a confirmation, I paid Rs 1745/- (Rs 1250/- for the 1 kg Black Forest cake plus three packets of biscuits).

After the b'day cake was cut by my two nieces and my elder sister had the first bite, she complained that the cake was not fresh and that there was a 'tenga-tenga' sour taste, which all others present also confirmed.

I wish to complain that Baker's Special (Repose Foods Pvt Ltd) must NOT mint money at the cost of forsaking quality and customer's satisfaction and mustn't take customer's for a ride by selling stale bakery items- cakes. If this is the service provided during winters, I wonder what it...

Repose Bakery in Beltola Chariali is a quaint little bakery that offers a cozy atmosphere and delicious food and drinks. During my visit, I had the pleasure of trying their cappuccino, blueberry pastry, and rajma patties, all of which were excellent in taste and quality. The blueberry pastry was perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess. The rajma patties were also very flavorful and filling.

However, the burger that I tried was not up to my expectations in terms of taste.

The seating area at the bakery is small, with a capacity of only 2 to 4 people. However, you can also opt to take away your order if there are no seats available.

Very pathetic service. First they messed up on my order and then lied about the availability. I had ordered for a square shaped white choclate cake for my mother's Birthday and when I went to collect the order the counter girl was unable to locate my order and then called up one of her collegue who lied to me that white choclate cake is not available in square shape and told me to take its delivery in the round shape when I declined because I had specifically ordered for a square shaped cake. Later on the counter girl told me that my cake was delivered to another customer who had ordered for a square shaped cake which was supposed to be a white...
