I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Domino’s Pizza today. I placed an order at 7:26 PM and expected prompt delivery, as promised. However, not only was the order delayed, but the entire experience was an absolute nightmare.
At 8:30 PM, with no sign of my order, I clicked on the Help link on their website, which redirected me to their Virtual Assistant chatbot. Let me tell you—it’s completely useless! The bot failed to fetch any details about my order despite my repeated attempts. No matter which option I tried, the bot could not provide any useful information. It’s as if it was designed to waste time rather than offer help.
When the delivery rider’s details finally became available on the tracking link, I called the number provided. Shockingly, the number belonged to a former employee! How can a reputed brand like Domino’s not even maintain accurate contact information for their delivery personnel? Thankfully, this former employee was kind enough to share the current delivery person’s number.
When I finally got through to the delivery rider, I asked him why the order was delayed. He was unapologetic and blamed it on the rush. When I asked for an estimated delivery time, he casually said it would take another 45 minutes! No apology, no courtesy—nothing.
I finally received my order at 9:15 PM, almost two hours after I placed it. By then, the food was soggy and completely unappetizing. It’s utterly shameful for a global brand like Domino’s to provide such abysmal service in Guwahati.
If you’re in Guwahati and thinking of ordering from Domino’s, beware. Unless you’re fine with waiting two hours for soggy food and dealing with rude service, look elsewhere. Domino’s may be a good brand in other cities, but here, it’s a joke. Order online at...
Read moreI tried Domino's Pizza today, and the experience was rather neutral. The ordering process was straightforward and convenient, with their user-friendly app making it easy to customize my pizza. The delivery was on time, which was a plus.
However, the pizza itself left me with mixed feelings. The crust was decent, with a good balance of crispiness and chewiness, but the toppings were somewhat lacking in flavor and freshness. The cheese, while gooey, didn't have the richness I expected.
In terms of customer service, the delivery person was polite and followed contactless delivery protocols, which was appreciated.
Overall, my Domino's experience was neither outstanding nor disappointing. It provided a quick and convenient meal option, but the taste of the pizza could have been better. While it may not be my first choice for pizza in the future, it serves its purpose for a...
