Talukdar Chat House — Restaurant in Assam

I have grown up snacking on the Chops from Talukdar Chat House, probably from the very first days they opened up in Rehabari! চপবোৰ খাবলৈ বৰ সোৱাদ! 🤩 Even now every time I am in Rehabari or nearby I make it a point to buy some for myself and people I am visiting. 🙂

Love the Mocha/Koldil Chop, the Fish Chops.

They are a hole in the wall kind of a joint, so, it will be a bit difficult to park a 4-wheeler. But you can probably park for a few minutes by the side of the road. Two-wheeler parking is not an issue.

Also, the place is almost always crowded. So, go with some time in hand, and some patience. It is worth the wait!...

It's a great place to have tasty Chops and chicken items. They have different types of chips starting from vegetables, banana flower, jack fruit to fish, chicken and mutton. They have different items such as chicken pokora, nuggets, lollipop and drumstick besides chilli chicken dry and chicken chap. They also started different types of momos. They also have different rolls. On different occasions I have tried different items and found all of them very tasty and delicious. It's a place to go and have some delicious evening snacks. If you are staying close it's better to take away as there is very less space...

Once upon a time case where Talukdar's maintained the quality but as what is seen with the increase in brand value, quality degrades such is the case with Talukdar Chat House. Today brought multiple items after a long time, regret buying it. Chicken chop only bones and no sign of chicken. Fish and Prawn chop only aloo stuffed inside, had to literally dig in to find even a small tiny chunk of meat but hard luck.

Talukdar Chat House with increasing name and fame you have forgotten your basic root of why people rushed into your tini tiny shop and waited long hours i.e. quality....
