The Tea Story — Restaurant in Assam

The Tea Story newly opened cafe at Uzanbazar is a beautifully made cute cafe, which has a outdoor seating area too. It's an old house made into a lovely place , favourite thing is that it's all pastel all around .... Amazing art works done on earthen plates which is quite Unique and creative at the same time.. I love the interiors totally and also that floral chairs in the ground floor is totally outstanding .. Great thoughts of Makeover I must say ... So as the name goes The tea story? What is it actually ? Defining it's a proper cafe that serves you flavoured tea be it any flavour from blueberry, Moroccan mint , apple , peach and many more as the list goes on.... PERFECT CHAI DESTINATION I totally loved the Rose and the blueberry flavoured tea. Blueberry was something really nice , flavourful taste.. In Assam , it's a first ever tea cafe and I am proud to say that the tea story has came up with the concept of generalising tea among the people. Yes , born and brought up in Assam we all love our state and it's tea gardens............... We feel proud about that ! But beauty does not relay on eyes, The tea story brings it on taste... Assam tea, made into various flavoured tea , is an excellent idea and thoughts ... Now coming to food yes they have a little less option but the small menu brings up a joyful smile on your face when it's on your table .... They serve you some fabulous onion rings( the meaty ones are the yummiest), The Alfredo wrap is also completely great one must try that, Mushroom and corn toast was another delicious thing here at the tea story, Isterband is delightly great in taste... The Nutella banana Crepes was yummm and lastly a must try is the choco bao😍 . . Overall I had a lovely time at the tea story. Guwahati people visit them and comment down below sharing your experiences... Yes, coming to the prices it's reasonable and affordable to everyone.. It's approx 400 for two excluding desserts... Service is really fast, like it takes around 5-7 mins only ... Very Calm, relaxing...

For Special Herbal Tea this is the only Cafe in Guwahati!! Pastry snacks are also available I try the Babycorn it was damn tasty french fries was also ok about the Tea well like they say it's not everyone cup of Tea if your looking for mind-blowing taste this is not the place for but Healthy all natural it tastes flowers 🌺 in my mouth u might like it or not u might think the rose 🌹 flavour taste sweets well that's blunt two. But ya it's definitely worth trying. Seating Interior is nostalgic u can comfortably talk chat in private & u can see the bottle Tea containers.. but main Selfie/ happening part is out side open air great place to chill out with friends get together play some games chill & enjoy...

I got a History with this place brought back so many memories this where I use to do tuition classes back class 4 Subramanyam Mam thank you for giving us the best Education & Treats. It's sad growing up we lose so many memories But i still remember Strict loving & caring nature for us specially the Puddings & Banana shakes that you used to make for us thank You for one of my most cherish memories ... I know you have moved away from Guwahati but hope you stay well no matter where you are & i we will always be ur...

The interior of the place is very nice and vintage. Ambience wise, it is definitely 10 on 10. But the service is a bit lacking as me and my friend had to wait for a long while but no one came up to us to take our order. We had to go down again and place our order ourselves. We ordered pasta but it was not good though. Didn't taste fresh. I've heard good things about this place so I am guessing it was a one time thing or maybe the other dishes are good. We wanted to order momo but it wasn't available and it wasn't even late. It was like 7 in the evening but momo wasn't available. The overall experience was not so great but gotta give it to them for the vibe and design of the place. Maybe the various types of tea are good there coz I've got good reviews from other people who have...
