1522 The Pub JP Nagar — Restaurant in Bengaluru

It has been sometime since I stepped out for a drink with friends because of the pandemic but when the time did come, 1522 was at the top of our list and mostly based on friends & family recommendation. We visited this place on 28th July, late Wednesday night and our initial impression wasn't good because of the lady who stands at the entrance and manages all the incoming guests. Felt like the grumpy type from the very beginning and she asked us to be seated somewhere in the ground floor and claimed kids were not allowed in first floor (my friends 5-6 year old son was with us). We really wanted to get to the first floor because of the ambience (seen only in pictures until now). But when we did pick-up seats in the ground floor, my friend noticed kids going in & out of first floor. He immediately went upstairs and noticed families with kids, we went back to the lady and got ourselves to the first floor anyways. I wasn't expecting much after this initial bad experience but we were in got a pleasant surprise at the first floor, the good people who served us and led by Mr.Jagadish were accommodating and served very well. They picked up every instruction carefully and the service was pretty quick, food recommendations were good & to our taste. Overall it was a pleasant experience and they served with a smile (even as they wore a mask at most times). We ordered a plethora of dishes and almost everything was pretty good but Basa Tawa Fish Fry, Chicken Sukka clubbed with Neer Dosa and Chicken Schezwan Fried rice deserve special mentions. We were light on drinks and mostly had cocktails, in my personal experience the Mojito (the first cocktail order) was very diluted but when this was pointed out to Jagadish, he came back with a prepped up and strong Cosmopolitan. Legends live on - 1522 has opened there yet another wings at Namma Bengaluru Yes yes you heard it right after huge success of the other branches new one is at JP nagar , this place was in dire need of decent watering hole and the nice demand has been fulfilled. This place has come up with very unique ambience with perfect usage of natural lighting and air conditioning, place makes 💯 judgement for happening party hub and also family me time , 1522 is that kinda place where you can go for family dining , yet a date with bae and at same time hanging out with friends . Coming to food part which we tried are :- Starters : Veg and nonveg platter Fish fingers Veg cheese balls Squid ghee roast

Mains we had: dosa and chicken ghee roast Chicken biryani

Desserts: Gajar halva Custard

Every ingredient went inside each dish was so perfect and good the chef as great knowledge of what the have in menu and what the crowd likes in Bangalore Service was quick and professional , the staff was so knowledgable and guided us in choosing the menu and well trained

I had a pleasant dining experience with food of the most exquisite flavours Overall I like this place I highly recommend going to 1522 jp nagar
