Absolute Shawarma @Jeevan Bima Nagar — Restaurant in Bengaluru

A quick bite restaurant in Thippasandara. Absolute Shawarma has many outlets across Bangalore. They have quite decent varieties in both veg and non-veg.

I tried,

AS special spicy Shawarma : Whole meat Shawarma :

Plate Shawarma : It consists of chicken meat mixed with sauce and served with fries, mayonnaise, kuboos on a plate.

Combo : It consists of a shawarma roll, cold drink and some fries. In shawarma roll you can either choose Arabian shawarma or Maxican shawarma.

Overall Chicken shawarma meat was was very well cooked. The roll was a bit small in size but the taste was just Amazing. It was hot, juicy and the best part, quantity of the meat was not...

Had the peri peri chicken shawerma plate...fully loaded version for 210. Decent portion size with two pita bread and minimal amt of fries seasoned with peri peri powder. For prices these days I would say its okay tending towards good. But the sauce or dressing on the chicken wasnt great. Given a choice I might just go for something without the dressing. The chicken wasnt soft implying not fresh but wasnt too hard either. But hey a good portion and no bones...so not complaining. Not much foot traffic so this may close soon (I think). Note that it is now located on JBN main road (not on Thippasandra main road) right at the end of the Leela Palace Road...

I had ordered whole meat shawarma rolls via Zomato. The cook had disguised french fries as chicken and had mixed small chunks of potato fries along with chicken in the shawarma rolls. Please see the attached pic. Not only is it easy to find out potato popping in between chicken pieces, it also makes the overall taste horrible. I will advice to immediately stop doing such things . It just not only brings a bad name to the restaurant, but also restricts customers to order from such places. Imagine such negative reviews about Absolute Sawarna going out to every possible social...
