Polar Bear Ice Cream Sundaes - Indiranagar — Local services in Bengaluru

I am trying to control my sweet-tooth as per my usual newyear resolution which I miss every year, but this year it was too early and the reason is Polar Bear Sundae Zone in Indiranagar. This place is very close to Sarposh and Empire in Indiranagar. Awesome array of Sundaes simply made me drool. The ambiance is beautiful , well-lit and the space is optimally utilized to give a feel of spacious decor. Generally I have Death by Chocolate and Gudbud here but decided to explore few more new ones.

We had the following sundaes:

Cake and scotch - Choco cake with butterscotch icecream weaves magic along with caramel sauce, choco chips, cashews, topped with dollop of cream and cherry. Every bite is an ecstasy. Its on my bookmarked foodie bucket list.

Red velvet choco sin- This looked so cute with the red tinge on white icecream. Here creaminess of vanilla ice-cream and yumminess of chocolate fudge married with the elegant red velvet cake. A must have.

Chocozilla- This dish is a sureshot way to beat the blues. This is made up of chocolate ice-cream, chocolate bar, gooey chocolate cake, chocolate sauce, laced with whipped cream with Oreo chunk sprinkles, and a rich garnish of chocolate waffles, gems, and what not. Visually it's spectacular and creates a riot on your tastebuds. A must have.

Death by chocolate - the classic combo of vanilla icecream and choco fudge, armed with yumminess of dark choco cake and roasted cashewnuts. It's a stalwart in sundae fraternity.

Gudbud- A mix of Vanilla, Strawberry and Pineapple icecreams, fruit and dry fruits topped with pineapple pulp. You put the spoon directly to the bottom and then take it out to have all the flavours at one go. This desset has a fascinating history and itself is a legend in itself.

All of them are superb , still my favourites are Red velvet choco sin and Chocozilla. For this kind of dessert I am ready to break my new year resolution once again. 🤭🤭

I had an absolutely horrible and disgusting experience at this outlet. The staff here have no manners, no basic sense of customer service, and absolutely no interest in doing their job properly. They act as if they are doing us a big favour by just standing there. When we stand at the billing counter, they don’t even bother to look at us, forget about responding politely. We are forced to keep asking them repeatedly, and they still act lazy and careless.

On top of that, after making us wait endlessly at the counter, they make us wait even longer for the ice cream. Why even run an ice cream outlet if you can’t serve on time? It’s ridiculous.

I visited on 10th June when they were offering a discount on sundaes. I went at 10 PM and stood at the billing counter for 20 minutes, only to be told that billing is closed. They had the audacity to shut the billing before 10 PM even though they claim to be open till 1 AM. Such shameless and unprofessional behavior is totally unacceptable.

I have been to many Polar Bear outlets before and always had a decent experience, but this particular outlet is a total disaster. It is by far the worst outlet I have ever visited. The staff clearly don’t care about customers at all. They are rude, irresponsible, and completely incompetent.

I honestly don’t know how this outlet is even running. With this kind of pathetic service and arrogant attitude, they don’t deserve a single customer.

Overall, it was an extremely frustrating and annoying experience. I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this outlet unless you enjoy wasting your time and being treated like you don’t exist. Never visiting again. This outlet is a big shame to the...
