Animal Bar — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Absolutely horrible experience! So flashback to 4 years ago when this place was newly opened me and my friends we decided to go here and since it was newly opened, there was a lot of crowd and we ordered food along with a couple of beers. They served as the beers but our food never came even though we waited for 1 hour 15 minutes. Now today I decided to give this place another chance because there was an offer going on on Zomato and to my bad luck the same thing happened to me again I went to this place at 8:30 PM. Settled down. Got a table and went to the washroom to see that there is no water then I placed my order at around 8.40pm and they served me the drinks but like the last time, my food never came to my table. I kept asking the waiter where is my food and he kept saying me that he is checking he is checking and after waiting for exactly 1 hours I decided to leave. Right after I paid the bill for my drinks they came and served my food saying sir please eat and don’t leave . But I left because I couldn’t stand that they made me wait one hour while there are thousands of other restaurants in Bangalore where I could have gone to eat. Absolutely horrible experience. I had been to hammered Bel road a couple of times before and absolutely loved the experience. It was my birthday and so a few friends and I decided to try out their HSR branch. This particular branch is huge! There's so much space. And as usual, service was up to the standard. Food was okayish. Honey chilli chicken was just okay but we really loved the pizzas. The crust was thin and it was fresh out of the oven. Drinks were good too. We really loved this one particular mocktail- passionately hammered. Do try that. It's blue and has this awesome coconut taste. We loved it so much that we ordered it again. For main course we tried the Thai curry which could be improved. All in all, this place is very easy on the wallet. More so, if you have Zomato gold.

When we want to hang up with friends, prefer to choose this place. But we had a both bad and good experience with them.

Bad Experience:

When we went the last year 2022 in December month, one of their staff members Manjunath irritated us very badly. Totally our mood was spoiled at that time. Even we tried to calm down the situation, he put us in a bad vibe by picking the cue stick and interpreting our game without our permission and fighting with us for unordered food, smiling at us when we ordered the Italian food and explaining that we don't know about the Aglio olio pasta. Totally unacceptable. We complain to the management about this issue, and hope they would take action against him.

Positive Feedback:

Big space to enjoy along with your friends. Food, fun and game at one place. Next time we had a treated good by different staff. They are really kind and nice.
