Good place to have nice vegetarian North Indian food. The food ranges from thali to parathas. Punjabi style of cooking is the main attraction. Punjabi daal, Punjabi roti, makki ki roti, sarso ka saag, Missi roti are the best. Parathas are served with butter and are very tasty. Paneer items can give you and your taste buds a good time. The cook is vastly experienced and friendly. Provides options for sabji. The food is served very fast. It is one of the quickest in terms to serving I have come across in Bangalore. It's not very cheap, but worth the money you spend. It also serves different varieties of lassi. Snacks are one more addition to the restaurant in the recent past. You can get poha, samosa. They don't take card payment. There are two ATMs close by to the restaurant. So no issues with getting the cash while payment. You should try the specials whenever you visit to this place. Personally, I like Paneer burji and Punjabi daal with Missi roti or Punjabi roti. You get poori sabji for breakfast if you want. They have recently added combos which includes soft drink with your meal. Have a nice dine whenever you...
Read moreThis is the perfect example of minimalism. They have not focused much on a needless show of luxury in their infrastructure. A nondescript hotel, more like a dhaba, situated in 1st block, Koramangala. It is easy to overlook this place from its outward appearance but once you dive into the delectable platter of North Indian cuisine that they have to offer, your palate would be left satisfied and your heart content that being a restaurant they have have done something perfectly right what they owe to diners, and that is food!! Would personally recommend their parathas which are a true delight. Served with the quintessential curd and a generous dollop of white butter (an accompaniment that is often replaced by the more commercially available branded butter at most other so-called North Indian joints), the parathas here are surely going to leave you craving for more. Also try their dahi bhalla, buttermilk and dal fry. If you are lover of minimalism and great flavours when it comes to food, then this...
Read moreThe food was horrible. We had ordered a paneer fried rice and a special veg thali for lunch. Not even a single item was prepared well. I probably think a novice could have a done a better kob with the preparation. We struggled to complete the food and lefthe place with guilt of wasting some quantity of rice. The paneer tasted awful and I think these guys third grade paneer to save some cost.
I have been to this place some 5-6 years back and in fact I was impressed once. The place is just the same and is maintained well except the food.
They were getting orders continuously from the online food delivery partners and I was wondering how could they get these many orders for a place which makes awful food. Either, they are giving away too many discounts or it was a one off...
