From what I read in the reviews and the images I am sure this is the same Basaveshwara Khanavali that I used to have my lunch when I first came to Bangalore. Back then I was in sales and struggling making like 8k a month (Near VR Mall). They served food for 30 rupees and 10 or 15 for add-ons. This was a time, maybe, about a year before lockdown. They had a very homely atmosphere. Being an orphan, they made me feel at home. Now, that I am somewhat stable and can spend 5-6k for lunch nothing an no fancy place has ever been able to beat this place. Basaveshwara Khanavali is etched into my heart even though I am forgetful and I don't remember their names but I can still visualise their smiling faces. I am so grateful to have met them when I was at my lowest. The sad part is they shifted one day and I was too busy struggling I never found out where they went. I hope this is the same place. They are a huge part of the reason why I fell in love with this state. Will...

The food here is not just a meal; it's a nostalgia-inducing journey. Each bite reminded me of the flavors from my hometown. The authenticity of the dishes is truly commendable.
