I’ve been to the Biergarten in Whitefield numerous times and made this visit half heartedly as I wanted to try a new place. But I’m more than glad that I made that choice as this new establishment in Manyata Tech Park is like a breath of fresh air with just the right amount of all the important elements that make a great dining experience - food, ambience, hygiene and service.
I can confidently say that Biergarten has elevated their game as far as starters are concerned. We took a lot of time to select 2 started from their wide variety of offerings. The CRAB PAKORA PAV was the perfect start to our meal. Each bite of the soft shell crab stuffed in the buttery pav was lip smacking. Even the plating of the dish was top notch. We then moved our attention to the MARBLE CHICKEN DUMPLINGS. The covering was translucent and the chicken stuffing was easily one of the most tender and juicy ones that I had tasted in a long time. It coupled really well with the chilli oil served alongside. The ORANGE BASIL KAMBUCHA was the calming essence amongst the bold flavours that we were tasting. Lastly, the KASHMIRI NADRU YAKHANI (with butter garlic naan) was served and it just culminated the dining experience in the best way possible. After tasting bold flavours of the starters, we wanted something subtle and the yakhani was just that. Perfectly balanced and served with the punjabi papad and super soft butter garlic naan, this dish had the portion size for easily 2 people.
I would like to specially mention the amazing staff at Biergarten. From assigning us the table to finally taking our pictures, the entire staff was at our disposal. They were proactive in helping us understand the process of ordering and also ensured that we knew what to expect from the dish. They were taking the feedback on every dish that they were serving which shows their dedication towards customer delight.
The ambience is such that you wouldn’t be able to ignore the place if you walk past it. The rebranding of the logo coupling with the modern decor and furniture definitely give them the edge and infuses a curiosity in...
Read moreI have gone to the other Biergarten in whitefield and Koramangala, this is the first time I visit the place and it took me a while to understand that it’s the same chain restaurant, the aesthetic of this restaurant is very different compare to the previous restaurant,it look more like a high end restaurant and the crowd are much calmer probably maybe cause it’s near Hilton hotel and beside the tech places so they don’t have the young crowd which is a new experience and so much more relaxing, if I have stayed nearby I would love to go here regularly…the place is well maintain, different calm designs and well loved employees, only problem is that before you want to place order, the front desk should have a physical copy menu so that we can find out the food quickly and we can decide if we want to eat there, they have only one ladies washroom which is so strange as they have so much covers and it’s seems like they don’t expect many women to come to the restaurant and they do not understand that women cannot just stand up like men and do their business, so I feel like they aim mostly for only men customers and doesn’t care much about the women crowd and for sure this designer and the owners would have their own mother, sister, wife and daughter who would face the same problem of why it’s hard to share only one washroom in every places we go. I won’t give less stars for this comments cause I know how much difficulty faced by the employee if I give a less ratings and they will be torture and will not be given proper respect they deserve so I still hope this comments about the washroom is not overlooked in their next outlet they might come up with . Overall everything is still as good as always and I wanted to thank Sanjay for his wonderful care and exceptional work ethic in making us feel comfortable and help us with the menu when ever we face difficulties, excellent staff...
Read moreTried the Nagavara Biergarten a while back. It's located within the Manyata Embassy Park but is roadside and easily accessible to the public.
We went on a Sunday evening around 9. The rush was minimal; we were immediately seated. Apart from our usual orders, we thought of trying something different. We ordered the udon noodles, poke bowl, and nachos. I looked for my usual drinks from Kormangala Biergarten but couldn't find any, so we went with water only.
Coming to the udon noodles, they weren't our usual thin noodles; the thickness was a little more, yet they were beautifully cooked. They were spicy to perfection with chicken bits, but a drawback was that they were overly dipped in sauce; once we had completed the plate, it was still filled with sauce. Coming to the poke bowl, the waiter warned us it had raw fish like salmon and tuna; we had never tried raw fish before, so we were excited. It was beautifully plated and vibrant; it came along with a dip of some kind which had a pungent taste like fish broth. Anyway, this was my friend's suggestion and not my cup of tea, but I tried it anyway. The tuna and salmon were so smooth and silky; you won't feel like chewing them—they just melt in your mouth. These were placed along with some vegetables and pickled items on top of a bed of rice. Overall, it was not my favorite, but my friend liked it very much. Finally, the nachos, as usual, were my favorite item. It is a starter, but it's always my main course.
The overall experience was quite good; the ambiance, seating, and waiters were highly plausible. I will definitely visit next time to try their...
