Bluebrick Cafe — Restaurant in Bengaluru

We happened to visit this joint recently after seeing all the rave reviews here and comments from some of our known. But it simply doesn't add up to the level it's being talked about. To keep it simple... ambience is minimalist with its light blue and white hues in the inside. There is indoor and outdoor seating with some additional area to host private parties and get-togethers. When we walked it was busy and noticed couple of 4-seater tables being occupied by single person busy on their laptops while some 2-seat tables were lying vacant. I feel BB management should have a better way of managing the seating occupancy. Good place for an evening hangout with friends and family. Food was very average. The half veg - half nonveg combo pizza we ordered felt very basic...while it was cheesy, the paper thin base was giving up under the weight of toppings. No taste of sauce or anything layered on that pizza. What truly stands out is their excellent service. They were quick, responsive and friendly. The boys are really good, well mannered and know to keep the customer happy. So, there I am going to give them full 5 star⭐. Credit given where it's due. As the place has a street facing entrance, it is very easy to locate. Once inside we were totally isolated from the outside noisy traffic and honking. Parking is by the road-side and no additional dedicated/valet parking was found. I guess right now it's ok since the road isn't that busy. There's parking space for some 5-6 cars in the front without disturbing neighbors/other businesses in the locality. Had high expectations seeing all the great reviews but it was definitely not upto the mark (at least not for a weekday lunch time visit). It was quite hot outside and they do not have water sprayed fans or anything to help with the heat. The a/c seating area found no charm with me. The benches along the wall are too high to have a comfortable sitting posture unless you put your feet up.

We would have gone back at this point but kid was too tired and hot to go anywhere else so we stayed for him to get a bite.

The menu is pretty basic ( which in itself is not a bad thing, though I was hoping much more coffee choices to choose from) and we asked the staff something non spicy for the kid and between that and what kid would eat we ordered nachos, Ferrero rocher choclate shake for kid and cold anericano for us.

Nachos are ordinary thin corn chips that you get in a packet and had a strangely yellow Mayo/ cheesey topping ( I did not like either the look or the taste but I was not the one to eat). Ferrero rocher choclate shake was good , heavy but good. Cold americano did not make any lasting impressions and could have been more stronger and less sweet (i never expect americano or espresso to have any sugar).

Pathetic

We had a terrible experience at Blue Brick Cafe, Yelahanka on March 23, 2025, around 6:30 PM. We ordered a club sandwich (chicken, egg, cheese, and bread), Alfredo pasta, French fries, mojito iced tea, and watermelon juice. My husband, daughter, and I ate the club sandwich, and unfortunately, all three of us suffered from severe food poisoning afterward. My young daughter vomited 4-5 times. My husband vomited 3 times. I had severe indigestion and a constant vomiting sensation. We hadn’t eaten anything else after our meal there, so it was clearly caused by the food. I called the restaurant to inform them, expecting them to investigate or at least acknowledge the issue. However, within 5 minutes, they called back—not to inquire about what went wrong but to defend their process and talk about their history. They did not take the time to understand or investigate, which was extremely frustrating, especially since I was making the call while lying in bed, feeling terribly sick. Food safety should be a priority, and I urge the management to take such concerns seriously instead of dismissing them. I would not recommend this place unless they improve their hygiene and...
