I've been a loyal customer of this Nandhana outlet for the past year, visiting twice a month, which means I've experienced the service here over 30 times. Unfortunately, I've noticed a significant decline in service quality recently.
The most noticeable issue is the apparent short staffing on weekends, leading to delays in basic service. I frequently have to ask multiple times for tables to be cleaned or for someone to take my order, which is frustrating when the restaurant is busy.
Furthermore, the cleanliness of the dining area has become a concern. Many tables have persistent food stains that cleaners seem unable to remove. It's disheartening to pay premium prices and then have to eat at a visibly unclean table.
There have also been issues with order accuracy. On one occasion, I ordered chicken biryani but received egg biryani instead. It seems there might have been a change in management, as the familiar manager from my earlier visits hasn't been present during my last two visits. The current staff also appears disinterested, a stark contrast to how they were before.
As a frequent patron of this fairly new outlet, I urge Nandhana management to seriously address these issues. The deteriorating service and cleanliness are detracting from what was once a consistently enjoyable...
Read moreAn Andhra style restaurant which has undergone a metamorphosis to cater for the Bengaluru urban palate. Food is served in plantain leaves. It was a week day and I guess that's why it was easy to get a table. Valet parking in the bylanes of yelahanka. Ok now brasstacks..... The food The nonveg meals has a variety of items and all pretty decent. The dum style biryani was great. I wonder what was a chilly chicken with gravy doing in an andhra meal.. but no complaints. The sambar was sweet!! Sweet sambar in an andhra restaurant? The mutton curry had an overpowering coconut oil presence and was a tad rich. Natti style biryani was no great shakes. The chicken in the briyani wasn't marinated enough an one got the feeling that the rice and chicken were cooked separately. The Amravathi style boneless chicken was fantastic.... succulent, well marinated, spicy👍 Rumali roti, a bread which one does not associate with andhra/rayalaseema, paired well with the mutton curry. The nannari lemon/orange sarbat was a big let down. No nannari taste at all.. was a lime soda with chaat...
