Situated in the lively HSR Layout of Bangalore, this Japanese restaurant serves up a unique twist, blending Japanese and Indian tadka to create a surprising culinary experience. Our visit, fueled by the expectation of a pure Japanese food journey, took an unexpected turn, revealing a delightful fusion that made this place stand out.
The restaurant's location is easily accessible, nestled in the vibrant HSR Layout. Its prominence is complemented by good open lighting, creating an inviting ambiance that calls out to everyone. The ease of finding the place is a definite plus, making it a convenient choice for locals and visitors alike.
The culinary journey at this Japanese-Indian fusion spot is a hatke experience. While we were expecting a complete Japanese menu, we discovered a unique blend of flavors that seamlessly combines Indian and Japanese influences. This unexpected fusion adds an exciting twist to the dining experience, offering a palate-pleasing mix of two diverse culinary traditions.
The food, for the most part, lives up to expectations. The fusion of Japanese and Indian influences results in dishes that are both intriguing and flavorful. From sushi with an Indian twist to innovative fusion creations, the menu caters to diverse tastes, making it a culinary adventure for those willing to step outside the traditional Japanese fare.
However, the dining experience has its own nakhre. The parking situation is a bit unconventional, with limited space right on the roadside. While security personnel assure patrons of safety, the arrangement might make some visitors thoda uneasy. It's an aspect that contrasts with the otherwise well-thought-out ambiance and convenience of the location.
Despite the hatke parking setup, the restaurant strives to provide a secure environment, and the assurance from security personnel might ease concerns. The overall dining experience, marked by an unexpected fusion of Japanese and Indian flavors, contributes to the restaurant's unique identity. For those willing to embrace a departure from the ordinary and explore the crossroads of Japanese and Indian cuisine, this place in HSR Layout offers a surprising and enjoyable...

Summary: Broadway is an absolutely unethical organization that doesn't have the basic traits of a hospitality establishment and is filled with incompetent management and staff.
Go there only if you know the manager or someone higher up or if you want to spoil your evenings.
I reserved a table with Broadway and got confirmation - we went there right on time and the receptionist says there is a wait of 15 mins. I was ok with that - there were other people waiting and one of them starts to complain that they are letting in people out of order. I was a bit surprised. But then it started happening again and again in front of me. I had 8.30 PM reservation - 3 of us. Another family of 3 comes in around 8.50 and asks to see if 'Karthik'( probably an assistant manager) is around - Karthik comes out and gets these people seated. When I mention that we are waiting he says, they have a 8.30 reservation, I told him, so did we, and we came before them. In spite of multiple objections from me and several other guests waiting, they simply ignored us and got the other family in. Almost similar scene played out with a couple of other parties.
After some time a manager comes out trying to manage the angry crowd, many of them waiting for over an hour (they committed 15 mins of waiting to everyone) and tries to act super-smart. He tells me, you might have booked online but we do not confirm reservations after 8.00 - when I show him the reservation confirmation, he has nothing to say. He shouts at the poor girl at the reception, who is anyway facing the angry crowd, and is bypassed by the manager/AM and then simply walks away.
We decided not to have our meal there and walked out, one other party walked out with us too.
Whatever might be the quality of food, Broadway is an absolutely unethical organization that doesn't have the basic traits of a hospitality establishment and is filled with incompetent management and staff.

Read moreWent to this place along with colleagues for buffet. The main difference between this restaurant and bbq is, food quantity. In BBQ you can get as much food as you want, but here the boys serve the food in limited quantity. You can ask for more, unfortunately no one listens to you. Even when we complained to the manager, he himself defended the serving was great, yet out of 2 and half hours waiting time, we didn't eat anything satisfactorily. I liked pizza, it was readymade one, they served 2 small pieces, I never seen that guy again even to request a 3rd piece. Most of the menu mentioned in the brochure is available except for the costliest items. The serving staff is rude. Their behaviour towards customer is not at all good. He took order for 4 people, he forgot the last one and left. When asked about the order, he was asking back what did you order... The entire staff looks like daily wagers with uniform and no education. Though the restaurant is good at serving food late, it might be a great place for romantic date, because couples want to waste time, this can be arranged by the restaurant by serving every dish after an hour. This place is not good for foodies, it is better for bunch of couples who are dating. Overall I would never recommend this...
