Food: 3/5 Ambience: 3/5 Service: 0/5
Sorry, but this place is a circus. Basis the reviews I decided to dine here hoping to end my weekend with good food and experience. Yes this place does serve complimentary food to win dinner's heart. But that happens because they goof up so easy. I took a table on the terrace and while deciding on the menu someone from the staff took away the cutlery stand and placed it back after some time, this happened throughout the time I was there. The waiter then look the order and good thing that they were quick serve. The waiter who served was honest to state that the chowmein was not that great to taste. The waiters here kept guessing and asking guest around with food in their hands if the if they had ordered what the waiters had. I cud see my salad travelling to other tables and heading to me at last. They forgot one of my orders and I later cancelled it and ordered dessert. The dessert was frozen to the extent that the spoon or the knife would bend or break. The waiter offered to warm the dessert. I asked him to take it back and bring the check. For next 20mins I waited scratching my legs on which the mosquitoes feasted. After 20mins, the waiter comes in with 2 bowls of ice-cream (complimentary), I requested them to take away one bowl and asked for the bill again. A little later I saw one of the waiter eating ice-cream that I had asked to be returned and he was eating this while serving the guests. Meanwhile, the waiter on my table was seen clicking selfies with other guests and lean on their table and chatting. My bill arrived 30mins later. I somehow feel that I am unble to write so much to explain all of what had happened there....
Read moreThis is a beautiful place nicely decorated with green plants and black theme overlooking a picturesque view of both the surrounding greenery and the cityscape.
We sat on the upper floor(there are two floors to this place) which was divided into two sections - a smoking zone to the right and a non-smoking zone to the left, both of which are exactly the same with outdoor sitting and covered roofs.
It can be a little hard to receive prompt service after placing our initial order as the sitting area is all compartmentalised into many separate areas.
Food here is a hit or miss. In starters we ordered Mutton Seekh Kabab which was unexpectedly good with appropriate spices (not many restaurants can prepare it well, although not your authentic Mughlai kabab but still very good), then we ordered Honey Chilly Potato which wasn’t on the menu and I guess rightly so as it was very dry and hard. In the main course we took Herb Marinated Grilled Chicken which was nicely cooked with seasoned mashed potatoes and side salad; and Kung Pao Chicken with Veg Fried rice- the taste of the gravy was alright although they did manage to capture the texture and consistency- go for it if you are craving for one, the fried rice were light and fragrant.
They don’t have washroom on the upper deck and you will have to walk down to their first floor for it, it is cleanly maintained. Also for parking - it’s the usual find your own space.
This place is perfect for dates and quiet hangouts as the music doesn’t overpower your conversation and just serves its purpose of a...
Read moreWe were a group of 20-22 people, partying in a 10x10 room thanks to TBC so were 2 other groups on the 1st floor of TBC. The buffet was common so the items came and vanished faster than a Xiaomi phone on flipkart flash sale. I never got to taste many of the veg/non veg starters which were promised in the package. The staff was highly inefficient, was unable to manage 20 people. They seem to have no idea on how to take orders and serve to a group. After 1hr into the party, one of the staff had an eureka moment and kept the beer tower inside the 10x10 room and hell broke loose. I am still wondering why was drought served when we were promised carlsberg and tuborg in the package. Food available was so so at max. Would not go there again would not recommend for you. Not worth the money paid, much better options near by.
Highlight of the evening was the pandaal rented from local marriage hall to cover the roof. /\
Update from 2nd group visit : we took a package per head with unlimited beer+whiskey+starters both veg and non veg and main course. The first serving of starters was good after which they filled the table with peanuts, potato wedges and salad claiming it was free. this is a cheap trick to save money on vegetables and chicken and fish. we had to remind them multiple times not to serve the free items. overall although the experience was good and...
