Disappointing Experience at CCD - Not Worth It!

I recently visited this CCD outlet, and I must say, the experience was far from pleasant. The moment I walked in, I noticed there was only one person ahead of me, yet it took quite some time before I could place my order.

When I finally got to the counter, I ordered a simple ginger tea. However, the staff seemed more interested in upselling than serving. The executive kept pushing me to buy a sipper or a mug, which I politely declined. She then insisted again, mentioning it was Independence Day, and tried to persuade me to buy something else. When I declined again, she suggested I order food, even after I told her I wasn't hungry. To top it off, just as I was about to swipe my card, she asked if I wanted chocolates.

After this frustrating interaction, I sat down to chat with my friends. 10-15 minutes passed, and I still hadn't received my tea, so I went to check on it. As it was finally being prepared, the staff member serving me made a snide remark, suggesting that because there were three of us, we should order more. Apparently, one 210 INR tea isn't enough for them.

If you're planning to visit this outlet, be prepared to be badgered into spending at least 1000 INR per person. This kind of pushy sales tactic is completely uncalled for and ruined what should have been a simple, enjoyable visit. Thanks, but no thanks—I'll be avoiding this place...

I had been to cafe coffee day in basveshwarnagar the other day with my husband and ordered a single cold coffee to drink. The person who was taking my order told me that I cannot order a single item as 2 people walked inside and refused to take my order. I asked him to cancel the complete order as we were not interested in buying a second item. He then placed my order for the single item. When questioned why other branches don't have rules of head count/number of walkin , he did not have any answers. I saw on the other table where there were a group of 5 with only 2 glasses on the table. When asked he was mum. He did not have answers to anything we asked. Such people who try to make money the wrong was by misleading their customers should be removed...

Dear Management , This is the second complaint I'm filing against the rude behavior of your employee Ms.Sushma, Working under manager Akhila at Bashweshwarnagar Cafe coffee day unit. Sushma started abusing in foul languages after I asked a black coffee asked me to wait as the cups were used by other customers. She tries to become over friendly with customers sits along with them in their tables not answering the orders most of the time. I have also recorded the video of abusing. I'm no more visiting this cafe further please take action...
