How the mighty have fallen! I still remember my first Pizza ever in the 90s - The brand new Pizza hut on Cunningham road. The pizza was piping hot and oozing with cheese. One couldn't make out where the cheese ended and the pizza base started. It used to be a premium dining experience with air conditioned rooms, excellent service, good music, clean cutlery and liberal portions.
Fast forward to 2022, you wonder if its the same chain. There was only one member of staff for the entire restaurant and she did not seem motivated enough to serve customers. A 20 minute wait time just to take orders was a bit too much for customers. Soon a crowd formed around the kitchen door compromising of frustrated dine-in customers and irate Swiggy drivers.
After waiting for ages, our order began to arrive - a glass of Pepsi and 7-up (which we did not order). The garlic bread and pizza arrived 15 minutes later. For the first time in my life, I found pizza at a restaurant at room temperature. The pan was only warm to touch. There was hardly any cheese on the pizza. The cheese (or what little was present) was all bunched up, base was hard and not crisp (for a pan pizza) and the toppings were sparse. I wonder why restaurants these days are skimping on cheese or using low quality cheese. It is not a very expensive ingredient!
The cheesy garlic bread was OK but the plain garlic bread was terrible. I would love to meet the executive at pizza hut who decided that a dry garlic bread without a dip would be good enough for customers. The cutlery was old and not well cleaned.
Gone are the days of air conditioned huts with great music. This one had its door open welcoming the noise and dust. If that wasn't enough there was loud music blaring over bad speakers that made conversation difficult.
After an unsatisfactory dining experience one is left to wonder if this is really a Pizza hut restaurant?!? It is nowhere close to the pizza hut experience in the UK. The quality of food and staff behaviour/service is well below expectations. It is safe to say that this is the last time I will ever step into or order from...
Read moreOh man!! How come Pizza Hut has lost its quality and Charm... That's the reason, I don't see people lingering around this place anymore.
Place: Neat, but tables do not have fork and knife. Only plates will be available. Only once the food arrives, the person runs with Knife and Fork. In my case, I had to request them.
Staff : Very less courteous. When checked with the quality of food, they had 100s of unconvincing reasons. BTW, there is only one person to take order. He is quite efficient in working for opening the door for guests to come in too. Sometimes, you need to search for him. Overall, insensible staff. Attitude : "Ours is the best. This is what you get. Eat or get out". No customer service nor courtesy to talk properly.
Taste/ Quality of food: The taste has reached its rock bottom. The once special starter 'Garlic Bread' had little cheese (something like a few letters written on the bread, here and there). The pasta was very spicy even though we had kids around and requested to be less spicy. Salad bar was OK. (Veg). Pizza: The Panner, veg Pizza had around 6-7 pieces of Paneer, which was almost stale, tasteless and raw. Not sure, what quality of Paneer was used. Olives - was quite very less. Around 3-4 numbers, here and there. Simple: If you want to witness, go and give an order and see what you get.
Overall, the gentleman who was the manager/door-opener/takes the order and finally serves (One man Show) was like Pizza Hut Spiderman.
Dominos is far far better though you wont get the right ambience there. Pizza Hut : Time...
Read moreThis is regarding order #17007141. The delivery was delayed by 15 min. The pizzas have turned cold. There is no real time tracking of delivery or any way to contact the delivery person.
Severely compromised box quality, as part of the cost cutting operation. The boxes are no longer corrugated or double walled, hence low insulation, hence pizzas get cold faster.
Had ordered 4 pizzas and 2 garlic bread sticks with 2 Pepsi. The Pepsi were chill and at optimum temperature. The pizza boxes had collapsed due to poor quality packaging and the top of the box lid had ruined the toppings of every pizza. So much cost cutting so, the plastic pizza savers (three legged plastic component to save pizza toppings from touching tge box) has been gotten rid off. Disappointing.
Had upgraded to cheese crust pizza, it's a scam. Charge INR 95+tax for the cheese crust, but barely any cheese in the crust. Not even INR 10 rupee worth cheese added in yhe crust.
Overall the source, base, toppings all top quality, satisfied with it.
Been trying to provide delivery feedback, but looks like the crm website has been pulled down by pizza hut. Not cool.
Dear pizza hut, it's not right to assume everyone has a social media account. I do not. Pleaae do provide other alternative option to...
