Guru Sagar Basaveshwaranagar — Restaurant in Bengaluru

One of the best Hotels in Basaveshwar Nagar, there are plenty post , crowded hotels in 500m distance . You never get parking or the seating. It's always over crowded with very substandard food. We visited by accident as we couldn't get any seating or parking elsewhere but we were pleasantly surprised . Idly and Vada were piping hot and Vada was super crispy even at 10.30am. poori also really good. You know if you take poori in Bangalore , you'll always get bad saagu but here even the saagu was amazing. Sambar , Chutni and even the coffee was really good. This will be my go to place from now on in Basaveshwar nagar. Service...

Food was good, 2 separate areas for dining in - Standing and table seating, Service was also good and hygiene too.

We had a south and north meals, each meal had enough items and quality was good except some of gravies. One meal is more than enough for single person.

Note: Only 2 wheelers parking space available...

Good place at the peak location on Basaveshwara nagar main road. Food is good at a reasonable price. The North Indian thali is pretty well packed , however they include curd rice which is not a North dish. Overall good . Their snack items are good and they serve it hot ....
