Cafe Here & Now — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Cafe Here & Now, a very popular cafe, located in the bustling locality of HSR Layout is one of the few places in Bangalore which is solely dedicated to breakfast. Visited this place recently to try out thr newest additions to the menu. As you enter the cafe you realise that the place is not just famous because of its food it's also how varied it's seating options are. If your are in the he mood to sit in a corner with a book and sip some coffee you have a place for that, if you want to play a game of fooseball with a bunch of friends or even board games, the cafe has got you covered. The decor is simplistic yet chic and I felt welcome as soon as I entered the place. Coming to the food: It has a vast spread of breakfast options including a lot of healthy options too which they serve ALL DAY! It has recently added a range of new items in the menu each of which taste delicious! My favourite of the lot would be: Egg Pops- comes in a batch of 4 is a delightful fingerfood and tastes out of the world. It's essentially spicy deep-fried eggs. Pull me closer- a loaded omlette with oodles of cheese, jalapenos and pork as stuffing. Heavenly. Chicken Frankenstein- a delicious sandwich with grilled chicken, salami and egg in it. Panky Doos- a new version of pancake which has abundance of all things nice like icecream, pineapple, nuts etc. It was so so good. For the health freaks , do try out the spinach omlette named Fair and Lovelee. Amongst the old menu you have to try thr classic burgers, the all day breakfasts (my favourite: it can't get pigger which has tons of meat options in it or even the classic English breakfast. ) For drinks you could try the cold coffee with ice cream or ginger tea. An English Breakfast joint you would love!!!!!

I have been visiting this place for sometime now and I would recommend this place for all who loves English breakfast.

Most common dishes we prefer: 1: Nice to Meat You: Delicious Chicken ham, Chicken Salami, Chicken sausages tossed with assorted veggies (Mushrooms, bell peppers and many more), double egg the way you want them, 4 slices of brown bread and tea or fresh juice. This is a heavy breakfast. If you don't want to have the breads, inform them. It's better to not waste food. 🙂 I would rate this 5 out of 5

2: Sweet Potat'o' mine: If you wish to have a slight pinch of sweetness in your dish with some ham. This is something you should try.

3: French Toast: French toast is served hot with cinnamon and Maple cyrup. You would love this dish if you're a fan of French toast.

Few things to remember: Love is in the air and not WiFi so stop using your laptop and share your love when you're here. You will see a board with this writing but they won't mind if you use your laptop or phone. 🙂 I would recommend you to keep these devices aside and enjoy having a good conversation. This is an English breakfast place in HSR which they have tried similar to Koramangala famous joints. The food is good however there are following problems with the entire service there,

The owner/manager comes and questions, why we are eating some kind of food and why are we avoiding mushrooms , cheese etc. it's so judgemental for some stranger to come and ask us when we eat out and that too when we are in a group it's embarassing.

The same owner keeps walking left right center to find out who is eating what and when are they finishing to eat. We understand he is having customers in waiting area to accomodate however he can't keep starring at others table

When we finish eating and order the last round for coffee or shakes , the same manager comes and ask us can we shift table make it small so he can put PPL in waiting. Not able to understand are we not treated as customer when it comes to last dessert or dinner

The staffs are good but they need to go and vet everything with the manager that's when the manager keeps poking into others table

Overall food is decent. They need to let others decide for themselves. They can keep a timing slot for people if they are too concerned about the tables and bills.

Definitely not for old people and those who need wheel chair accessibility as we need to climb 2 floors.

Edit: response to below comment We were 7 PPL not 6 PPL. For 7 PPL u can give 8 PPL table only and not 6 and at the end you asked us to adjust to 6 PPL table when we are in final coffee rounds etc . Hope the feedback is taken with right meaning so it can do justice to the...
