L81 Cafe — Restaurant in Bengaluru

We had a terrible experience at this place.

We ordered a chocolate milkshake but received cold coffee instead. The Blue Lagoon we ordered took a long time to arrive and was excessively sweet; we had to request ice cubes, and they provided ice of such poor quality that it felt like it came from a street vendor selling cheap juice.

We ordered cheese garlic bread and waited 55 minutes, yet it was never served. Each time we inquired, the waiter kept saying it would be just two more minutes. We were seated near the kitchen, and when we inquired about the garlic bread, the waiter went in and rudely asked the kitchen staff to prepare it, as if it was our mistake for ordering it. He also mentioned that it takes time for the oven to heat up, as if we don't know how an oven works. This was really unprofessional behavior.

The place may look good from the outside, but it has a local kitchen setup and untrained staff. Also, don't visit in the evening as there are too many mosquitoes. Also most of the items in the menu are...

Location is good, open spaces. The female attendent was well-behaved. However, the chef and the manager seemed to be confused and not in sync. They kept on coming back to confirm order again and again. And if that was not enough, we were served green peas masala ( instead of mix veg which we ordered) and instead of quoting the price mentioned in the menu, manager added extra amount to the bill stating that mix veg has been added into the green peas masala order. In actually, there were hardly few pieces of carrot and beans and whole lot of green peas and the gravy. It is not about money but the experience a person craves while visiting a new place or having an eat out. So, in short what felt like going to be a nice evening went into an overall extremely bad customer experience. Never visiting the place again.
