The Elite Royale — Hotel in Bengaluru

Smaller room given at check in. Despite mentioning that it was for an elderly senior citizen, all other options shown were the smoking rooms with broken fixtures and broken tile. Most bathroom fixtures are loose and not working properly. Barely any care given to housekeeping part- no towels, tissue rolls, coffee, WAter- provided on their own. U have to ask for every small thing. The door itself has no proper lock and can be opened with a master key from outside. The main door is so jammed that u need more strength to open it and close it both. For someone who is travelling for medical treatment and choosing to stay here, it’s the worst place. ||Mattresses are shorter than the bed size. Single chair given for sitting when it’s a double occupancy setting. Looks like a bachelors room was given to me and dad because all others were occupied. No sofa like the ones shown in images on the site, smaller room size. Looks like we were given a downgraded room despite paying for a premium category room. ||The desk manager did try and coordinate but it seems the hotel manager/management are busy with another property and have no interest in any kind of guest services at this hotel. ||Despite repeatedly asking for a room change, and upgrading to the empty suite room for my father, to make his stay comfortable since he’s visiting on medical emergency, NOTHING was done except showing us rooms that look dingy, with broken tiles and faucets/fixtures and all smoking rooms. This hotel is not recommended for families, unless they have bigger family rooms on the 4th floor, which we never saw. The entire hotel is a smoking hotel, so all the rooms have the cigarette stench. Most other room options shown were Smokey, dingy, with different white and yellow lights in the room. Most rooms shown looked shady and cheap and not recommended for families, with elderly or children. ||Paying and upgrading was also of no interest to the hotel manager who was never to be seen on the property or available to be contacted. Not sure why this hotel should be given any stars for the kind of service provided. ||Nothing of hospitality or service business functions here. The Elite Royal (Sasya Homes) is a reasonable hotel located at HSR Sector 6 on ORR service road. Me and my family stayed here for 2 nights during the new year day.

Pros: Room rate/night was cheap comparing to similar hotels in this locality Delux Room is bit small and clean, but okay for 2 people. Buffet Breakfast was good in this price range with 3-4 options. There is a pub/lounge (Indigo XP) on the roof top. Which is good if you want to chill out and to have dinner. Separate lift from reception area to the pub, so it is not mixed with hotel. Staffs were good. Mr. Vinod and Mr. Sumanth in the reception helped with parking and very responsive to all questions. Lot of good restaurants, pubs, in walkable distance. Bus stop is very near.

Cons: Bathroom fittings, tiles, etc. are bit old and have minimal stains. Limited ventilation and day light inside the room due to buildings on both sides. Room lightings are bit dull especially if you want to work from room. No much dedicated parking area. Around 2 cars can be parked right infront on hotel. Remaining has to be parked on service road side which is infront of the hotel as well. Noise from pub was coming to rooms, may be it was due to New year party, but it...
