A small cosy place in the inside roads of Hennur. This little "tasting room" as they call it is perhaps little because the major chunk of real estate is a roastery! Yup, they roast it back doors and grind it fresh for your beverage!

I won't exactly call myself a coffee expert or a Q-grader, but I know a fair amount about coffee, and in this case, a little more than what the baristas knew.

Location: A little inside and away from everything around. It's a corner shop located in a residential area. But it really doesn't matter here!

Ambiance: Cosy, warm and welcoming - A new age & modernized café interiors, with wooden tables and simple seating options. Extensive spanning windows bring in enough ambient light and makes everything look great! 👌

The Coffee: We tried Pour-over, French Press, Espresso, Espresso Tonic, Vietnamese Coffee & a Nitro Cold brew. The pour-over was alright and in my opinion, it could have been brewed better. It felt a little under-extracted. French press was actually ordered to try the darkest roasted beans that they have, but again, it was a very weak drink. Espresso was good, but I order for a single shot (because the flavours & texture is richer) but they gave me a double shot and said "sorry sir, this machine only gives double shots".... What? 🙄 They messed up on the nitro brew, but were nice enough to correct the drink with another one. But, kudos to the people because not many cafés do such a variety of brews👌

Food: I haven't really tried much from their menu, but did try the tart, which was pretty good. What's surprising is a hardcore coffee shop serving food like Pastas & breads. Usually such places only serve pastries and baked savoury items.

Service: Since it houses only about 15-20 people, the orders come relatively quick, and the service is above satisfactory! 😁

Pricing: The items on the menu can get a little expensive (especially when you own coffee brewing equipment) but it is almost worth it. Their beans are priced to market standards... Which is about ₹350-400 for 250 grams.

I will definitely swing by here someday and look forward to tasting...

Coffee Mechanics is a small, cosy joint. I thought it could be a little bigger, so it could allow for some privacy on conversation. Apart from their coffees, at which they have vast expertise, they also serve up some cute snacks. Take the Honey Garlic Chicken Wings for example. They were very tasty, even thought I felt that they could be a bit more meaty. I can't forget the Chicken Sliders, who's melt in the mouth feel is exactly what one wants to find in a burger. But after all the place is all about their coffee, so it would be only appropriate for it to be the star of the show. And it was. The Frappe was simple. I could tell they were real experts as the quality of their coffee was felt through each sip. Wow, the Granola Affogato was really something else. The exotic blend of ice cream, granola and expresso was a magical combination. It has a wonderful balance to it and it is a unique creation by them. Very impressive. Of course, as they are new, there are a few pointers of improvement - namely the Granola Affogato being in the cold drinks section and a small bill problem. But what actually impressed me the most was not their coffee - which I had high expectations of - it was actually their food. Considering they specialise in coffee, their food was certainly noteworthy. The staff were very friendly too. The restuarant was simple and rustic. There was a warmth about the place. All I can say is this 6-month old restaurant is sure to be a hit in the...

This place brings the best Indian Artisan coffee to you! The barista was a pleasant and yet methodical man. He had the chemex, the siphon pot, the aeropress, the stove top, the French press and the amazing south Indian filter lined up :) for a show. He patiently waited for us to place our order. This time we tried the mini cappuccino, the mocha, the cinnamon latte along with mushroom bruschetta and peri peri fries. I say this time because I will be back there very soon! We sat down and started a conversation about artisan coffee and discussing the cost of the precious coffee maker with its milk frotther. In considerable time (required to brew good coffee) the barista brought us three cups of the best coffee prepared with beans from chikmagalur. The art was beautiful! We took the time to appreciate it with insta-ble pictures. We sipped into the perfect cups of coffee and spoke about the family who grew these beans for over 6 generations. The barista was quite engaging and let us smell the aroma of all the beans at the store. He also walked us a little through how the coffee bean is picked and roasted. Speaking to him is one of the highlights of the place.

Friday night + good company+ some gossip ;) + good coffee + amazing barista = :)...

Had the English Breakfast and loved the presentation. The ambience is warm and nice, too. Especially the location- not too far away from bustling Ring Road and Hennur Cross yet in a more calm residential area is a wonderful thing about this place. They insisted on placing order online and gave me a 10% off + cash back in the wallet! Much appreciated!
