UPDATE 3: Visited recently a few times. Same great taste, competitive prices and friendly host. One of the best chinese restaurants.
UPDATE 2: The payment issues reported earlier seem to have been addressed and all major payment methods are now accepted. Food quality and taste is also very good, as pointed out by other reviewers. Thumbs up !!
UPDATE: Their card payment options are often found to be not working and I was asked to pay by cash/PayTM 4 out of 5 times over the past 1 year. They don't even have change and payment takes that awkward 5 minutes. No UPI based payment mode. This must be a frequent issue or the owner is a shady tax evader, this place has nicely decorated board that reads "today card machine is not working"
Value for money Chinese restaurant with hygienic and adequately tasting Chinese cuisine at an affordable pricing point. Not the best of places for ambience and like. It is situated in cellar of a building. There isn't a huge crowd here most likely for the location, but is very popular for food delivery aggregators and take...
Read moreTINY AND BUDGET MINDED ! The restaurant, Dragon’s Kitchen is peaceful, well lighted. Highlights include the chicken manchow soup which has a unique spicy tangy flavor, the noodles which was cooked perfectly so the texture and taste were perfect, and the nibbles that is addictive and yummy. The cozy and rustic setting in HSR Layout makes it a popular spot for students, dates and small groups. The dishes focus on seasonality and using fresh, local ingredients, making it a great option if you're looking for something different and cheaper than your typical chinese fare. The service is friendly and professional. Some of the items on their extensive menu include noodle soups, seafood, roast meats, fried rice, wide noodles and rice plates. The thin noodles are very chewy and tender. The spices used in the noodles are always a little higher, but the dishes they serve are always delicious. If you're looking for a place to get your chinese fix without breaking the bank, Dragon’s Kitchen is...
Read moreHidden gem. Went there today for lunch after reading mixed reviews. To my surprise food was pretty good. I ordered Chinese chopsey and tom yum soup which are generally my benchmarking dishes for any Chinese restaurant. Both were really good full of flavors with decent quantity and quality. Due to the pandemic, I guess most of the orders they serve are online deliveries and that may probably be one of the reason why some people have given bad ratings. Chinese food loses all its glory when ordered online and best enjoyed when it's fresh served in-dining with all the crispness and graduation of flavors. Only downer is the upkeep of the place. Since the influx of dining customers is less the place appears haphazardly maintained with some raw materials kept in the sitting space. Overall a very good value for money and a good economical Chinese options specially in HSR area.
Overall bill came to 366 which is totally worth it....
