Green Onion Chinese Restaurant Frazer Town — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Visited Green Onion once they updated their timings to be open till 11:30 for dinner, after hearing several good reviews about it. Turns out, these good reviews are for their other branch, this one, honestly isn't up to the mark.

Firstly, I must say the staff is very professional, polite and hospitable, no complaints on that end at all.

The ambience is decent, not too bad, not too good. It's pretty decent and suits well with the Chinese theme.

The food, was quite disappointing. The manchow soup was decent, something I'd probably have again. We ordered threaded chicken, Thai friend chicken and burnt pepper chicken on their recommendations. Honestly, none of them tasted good, in fact, I felt like there was no taste at all, it was bland and I had to use as much ketchup as possible to make it a bit tasty. Also ordered the hakka noodles, it was ok, but not as good as what you'd expect from a purely Chinese restaurant.

Pricing is quite good though, 2 people can easily have a meal within ₹500.

Not a place I'd visit again to eat. Their other branch seems to be good, might try that out...

This is one of the most horrible service i have ever received. We ordered the food and waited for good 1 hour yet the food did not arrive. After following up with the staff they gave a reason stating that due to power cut the order has been delayed, honestly saying the power was off for just 5 minutes and was back on. The staff was soo rude and was extremely hopeless. After waiting for eternity we planned to cancel the order and one of the member from the staff was soo rude and was okay that we were cancelling the order and did not insist to keep it. We left unhappy from the place and the staff abused us and was unprofessional. Would not recommend anyone to visit to this place were customers are not been respected. Seriously implementation has to be taken and staff has to be changed and well mannered one...

My friends hyped about this place so much that I had to give it a try and to my surprise I was so disappointed that I would never recommend people to go there atleast after what I experienced. Ordered chicken chilli garlic noodles which was suppose to be spicy but there wasn't even a hint of spice. Then ordered crispy honey chilly chicken which was so sweet that we had to literally dip it in the spicy sauce which was not spicy at all and still tasted sweet. Then the last thing that we ordered and i regret ordering is golden fried prawns which was tasteless, uncooked and tasted just like those small shops that sell bajjis and pakodas in every area. For reference it looked exactly like the green chilli bajji. Very disappointed...
