We had been to this place for lunch with a family of 6 members. To be honest this place is a bit overrated. Not sure if there was a change with management or anything since the previous reviews contradict my experience at Kandaswamy. I went here post reading the reviews but I guess a lot has changed right now. Pros; The location of the place is good with ample parking space and without the noise of traffic and crowd. They have a wide range spread on the menu which can be tried, specially non vegetarians can enjoy some variety of food. We had ordered mutton chukka and seer Fish which was delicious and could feel the freshness in the fish without any smell and the mutton also was fresh. They have swiggy dine out and Zomato gold which has 10% discount.
Cons: First biggest drawback is the service. Totally unprofessional with anyone and everyone ready to serve and lack of management ethics. Literally, our soup came after the main course and we had to remind the staff time and again that a particular dish had not come. Later the staff got the order placed receipt and asked us if we had to get something or pending. No cutlery provided or any basic table manners followed. Lot of items are of average taste and quantity also is less for the price. There were many tables complaining about the banana leaf not provided though orders came out and few tables had the banana leaf spread even before placing the order. Items came in long gaps that we had to wait every 10 - 12 mins for a dish to come. We had meals for which the rasam provided was spoilt. Literally smelt which spoilt our experience overall.
Finally, if requested to revisit, I would surely give that a second thought. Lot of improvement to be done. And also the restaurant looks like it belongs to a more standard one rather than any road side shop. So please maintain that by providing the right service and food...
Read moreFirst and foremost- he Chettinad chicken dish was labeled as authentic, it fell short of expectations. While the taste was acceptable, it lacked the distinctive flavours and spices that are characteristic of true Chettinad cuisine.
Another letdown was the chicken curry accompanying the chicken meal. The chicken pieces were clearly not cooked properly, as they were still frozen and not even thawed.
Furthermore, The fish dish we tried was also unsatisfactory. It was evident that the fish had not been properly marinated; it was merely coated and fried without any attention to flavour infusion. This lack of attention to detail was disappointing, considering the potential the dish had. Even the Parantha, a seemingly simple dish, was not cooked properly. It lacked the desired texture and was undercooked, making it unappetizing.
Also, I was surprised to find that rasam, a staple in South Indian cuisine, was missing from our meal. It was disappointing to see such a fundamental component omitted.
The mocktails we ordered were a letdown as well. Instead of using real fruit, they were made with artificial flavours, giving them an artificial and unnatural taste. This lack of authenticity was disheartening and diminished the overall enjoyment of our meal.
On a positive note, the Halwa served was the only item that lived up to our expectations. Its taste and texture were commendable, providing a brief respite from an otherwise lackluster meal. Lastly, I appreciate that Bisleri water was available and served appropriately, as expected, ( no need to say that credit does not go to the restaurant for this)
All this happened when both manager and owner were present in the restaurant and the same feedback was conveyed to...

If you're on the hunt for a delicious, wholesome vegetarian meal that doesn’t skimp on flavor, Too Good is the answer. From the moment the dish arrived, it was clear this meal was a celebration of vibrant colors and fresh ingredients.
The presentation is appealing, with a perfect balance of textures and vibrant vegetables that hint at the flavors to come. The dish includes a variety of seasonal vegetables, all cooked to perfection. The star of the show has to be the quinoa base, light yet filling, offering a nutty backdrop to the earthy flavors of roasted beets, sweet potatoes, and tender spinach.
The accompanying sauce—a tangy tahini dressing—ties everything together, with just the right amount of richness to complement the lighter veggies. There's also a subtle kick of spice from the seasoning, which elevates the dish without overwhelming the palate.
