I recently hired KHAI KHAI to cater my daughter's birthday party, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From start to finish, they exceeded my expectations in every way.

Being a Bengali I always keep searching for Bengali cuisine in Bangalore. Tried a lots of options starting from fine dine to budget. But most of them disappointed me. From that aspect, Khai Khai is not the best but a good option. I have visited this place for so many times. I have tried the below items. Chicken Biriyani: it was very nice. Quantity was also good. Veg thali: good enough Chicken thali: good enough Doi. Katla thali: for the first time I got bad food. The gravy was spoiled. Fish was also not fresh. However, something is very disgusting. They have so many thing in the menu but when you ask they will say this is not available that is not available. I asked for mughlai so many times but they told it’s not available. Service is ok ok. They should try to expand the place as so many Bengalis from near by visit this place. They have some regular customer also. Recently they have renovated their restaurant which looks really good. But the price is on higher side if you compare with the quality and restaurant outlook. The most pathetic restaurant I have come across in a very long time. Let me tell the whole story.

We used to order food online from this place often, so this time decided to go for a dine in. We reached at around 1.30 pm and entered for lunch. The biggest red flag was that even on a Friday they didn't have any customers. The restaurant was empty. We found ourselves a corner seat and waited for someone to come take our order. A guy came and just stood there for 1 min. Initially we thought he might be dumb (disabled) but later he started speaking!! We asked him what will be ready immediately as we were in a hurry. He said "Nothing" and just stared at us. He definitely looked drunk. We asked him what about biriyani, to which he replied it will take 10 mins. So we went ahead and ordered Chicken biryani Lucchi and mutton kassa

The biriyani was cold, didn't really have any taste to it. The lucchi was hard but mutton was good.

The plates and the overall place looked very unhygienic. Service was pathetic. We won't be ordering food from here again seeing it's extremely poor food standards.

Advice to the owner: Please keep your staff happy, or else these people take out their frustration on the customers. This guy who attended us really had some issue. He didn't even give us a physical bill and also didn't allow us to pay via Zomato. I managed to take a pic of this guy as he didn't even tell...
