If you’re craving authentic Awadhi flavours in Bengaluru, Lucknow Street Restaurant in Koramangala is definitely worth a visit. Located near Jyoti Nivas College, this small yet vibrant eatery captures the essence of Lucknow’s famous street food perfectly — especially their Galouti Kebab, which truly lives up to its reputation.
I tried the Galouti Kebab with paratha, and it was nothing short of amazing. The kebab was incredibly soft, melt-in-the-mouth, and full of rich, aromatic flavours that instantly reminded me of the traditional taste of Lucknow. The paratha paired beautifully with the kebab, balancing the textures and soaking up all the delicious spices. I also had a fresh lime soda, which complemented the meal really well and added a refreshing touch.
The staff were warm, courteous, and attentive, ensuring quick service even though the restaurant was quite busy during my visit. It’s clear that they care about maintaining a great dining experience.
The only slight challenge is parking, as finding a spot near Jyoti Nivas College can be tricky during peak hours — so it’s best to plan accordingly or use public transport.
Overall, Lucknow Street Restaurant is a gem for anyone who loves authentic North Indian and Mughlai food. Whether you’re a kebab lover or just exploring new flavours, this place won’t disappoint. Highly recommended for a casual lunch or dinner in...

The cost was in line with the quantity, however, the taste is very bad for certain items on their menu. Whilst we absolutely loved their Chicken Katti Kebab which was soft, tender, juicier and tasty, the tunday kebab disappointed us in more than one areas- which was supposed to be their highlight.
Customer service is nil but not rude either. Open kitchen(only with respect to kebabs counter). Service is neither fast not slow. The set of Tunday kebabs were half baked, too much oil and lastly but importantly very bitter in taste. I have tasted Tunday kebabs in the past and these are not even close to them- probably i got the worst lot but it ruined my experience.
Pros: Certain kebabs are absolutely worth trying and enjoying Pricing is okay
Cons: Less options on menu Of the ones available, one disappointed us very badly in taste No parking area Customer service needs to be improved. I had an older gentleman forcing me to accept somebody else’s order even after clarifying twice that my order was different. He was upset coz I wont take which was ready 🙄 No...

Be it the architectural marvels, rich literature, 'khatirdari' (hospitality) or their opulent culinary affair, Lucknow never ceases to charm. While there are abundant vegetarian dishes adding to the glory of Awadhi cooking, Lucknow is particularly loved for its meaty delights - especially its succulent kebabs (Galouti, Tunday, Boti and Chapli). The love affair between kebabs and Lucknow city goes back centuries in time. Historians believe that minced meat wonders were relished as a staple breakfast in 14th century Awadh. But it was only in the 17th century, that the kebabs of Awadh saw a revolution of sorts, and we all have a toothless king to...
