McDonald's — Restaurant in Bengaluru

was a regular at this outlet, service started going downhill since almost a year. A very annoying incident happened today- visited out let at around 13.30 hrs placed the order & remembered about a coupon given during my last visit. when showed the coupon the action starts- first reaction was this coupon is not valid, to which explained due date is 31st March, 2018. the executive at cash counter quickly took the coupon from me & made another discovery "the coupon is only valid for home delivery" the best part was the lady executive decided to ready only the last 2 words in the coupon from the right hand bottom corner and announce her discovery. Had to then ready out the print which read "offer not valid for home delivery"😀 Now the executive makes another discovery she says the coupon is not available now as she has not seen it. Had to counter her saying the coupon was issued by Mac & how it cannot be available prior to the due date. Due to my constant perusal the executive approaches her supervisor for details. the discussion between them was not audible but on returning to the counter the executive says she cannot redeem the coupon. then puts the coupon below her work station as if throwing trash!😨 had to demand the coupon back & approached the supervisor - Mr. Dushmanta. now this guy announces another discovery "the offer is now in place only for the ice cream & others have been withdrawn. now ask him to give this writing & shall take up with his management. he refuses to acknowledge the same in writing but says the mc veggie meal is available @rs.205 but without peri peri. this exchange had already taken about 20 minutes & now demanded explanation from supervisor why correct information was not provided even after repeated requests & who authorised the counter lady to drop the coupon & refuse redemption. Mr. supervisor started with "you are correct & we are also correct" the offer is available as a limited option so counter person may have told it is withdrawn. Had to stop him & make him call the counter lady who said she approached supervisor & was asked to offer only the ice cream for the coupon. but for some reason the lady at counter refused to accept nor clarify about the availability of part of the offer & put the coupon aside. by now it had been nearly an hour and supervisor & the counter lady started to use the excuse of need to attend other customers & had the aducity to say we will honor your coupon. when I refused to hand over the coupon saying I am not interested in their offer now nor place order but would have to speak to their manager to explain their conduct the supervisor came with an excellent response "you accept our sorry, what else do you want" I again refused to accept their half hearted & non responsive apologies & demanded explanation why wrong information was provided to customer & why I had to push really hard to get a clarification from them. no response from them but only an excuse need to service other customers.

at this point had lost all patience & thanked Mr. Dushmanta supervisor & the counter lady for the excellent service & walked out of the outlet without having food.

now this episode raises few important questions about the ethics of business followed MAC.

is Mac trying to save the offer amount by refusing the copoun? why clear information is not shared with customers? why supervisor & counter lady acted in supsious manner & said first only ice cream & then say another offer is also open? this shows complete disregard to service & customer care. is this attitude & customer service is acceptable by MAC management or is this the norm?

I would request all friends to excise caution when visiting vijayanagar, bangalore outlet. Also please share your experience online so that this kind of attitude comes to the notice of...

I went to the Mc Donalds, Vijaynagar and I ordered a Veggie meal.I had to wait for about 5 mins till I received my order because the place was very crowded.Also,they had all the new things that Mc Donalds has recently introduced in the menu.I also ordered some of the items that were newly introduced.The customer service was good and inspite of so many people being there the staff catered to the customers patiently and nicely.I received my order and I went and sat to eat.The place was clean and the staff was taking care to throw away the wastage and clean the tables quickly.The meal was well cooked and the burger looked extremely good.The fries had gotten a bit cold but tasted good nonetheless.I also ordered another Mc Flurry but it had melted quite a bit maybe because of the number of people that had increased considerably and also because the staff was trying their best to serve the customers on time but due to heavy rush there were delays.The staff was apologetic and they told me that they can replace it.But,I was in a rush so I told them that it was okay.The service was great and my experience was enjoyable.I highly recommend going to eat at that McDonald’s.The staff was extremely friendly and I would definitely go...
