Recently visited Motis Restaurant and tried their appam and beef roast. The appam was easily the highlight – soft, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. Unfortunately, the beef roast didn’t live up to expectations; the meat was rubbery and undercooked, and the gravy lacked depth.
The restaurant itself is clean and well-maintained, and it’s great to see they offer basic facilities like a bathroom. A pleasant surprise was the tea – flavorful and refreshing! Portion sizes were fair, and the pricing felt reasonable for what was served. Porotta, beef fry was also good. Beef cooked well.
A few suggestions for improvement:
Providing a printed menu with clear pricing would enhance transparency and ease the ordering process.
Customer service needs serious attention – the staff should be more attentive, offer water without being asked, and check in during the meal to ensure guests are satisfied.
Most importantly, the attitude towards customers needs improvement. A welcoming approach can significantly elevate the dining experience.
Decent experience, With some improvements in food quality, service, Motis has the potential to become a...
Read moreI had visited this restaurant with my friends a couple of days ago. Since they had renovated the old restaurant and had opened a new outlet at the first floor paving way for a tea stall at the ground floor, we were curious to try the new space and feel the fresh ambience. I'm sorry to say that the whole experience was downright disappointing.
I had gone with two of my friends and we had placed an order for some dishes that included a plate of prawns roast. To our dismay, the prawns roast had pieces of beef in it. One of my friends, who does not eat beef, fell prey for this atrocious treatment. I suspect that the gravy used for the prawns roast was taken from the beef roast, as prawns dishes are rarely ordered, and I couldn't find any difference between the gravy of both the beef roast and prawns roast.
I would like to bring this to the notice of the management and to all those who have plans to visit the place. Dear management, please maintain a minimum standard for the money we pay, and dear...
Read moreWent with family for lunch. Ordered meals, Biryani and sardine wish. Waited 15 minutes. There was no crowd. Biryani came in 10 mins and he brought meals in next 5 mins and no sign of sardine we ordered. For meals there is no sambhar or rasam, he said now. We got tensed and asked why he is saying this now. Then we ordered paratha and chicken curry. Waited another 20 mins. Our order came now. To my surprise it was so pathetic. Not cooked proper paratha and watery chicken curry. For chicken Curry they have taken already fried chicken and mixed it with tomato and onion watery gravy. Chicken was so hard. They forgot our order sardine to which we actually came for here. Then it came. 3 pieces for 70rs. We use to get 10 fishes for 30 Rs and in whatever logic, the price is high. No shade parking as well and we went in noon time and tough to find parking space for...
