Dining at Mughal Treat in HSR Layout can feel like stepping into a culinary time warp, where the food steals the show but the ambience and service leave much to be desired. Upon entering, you might find yourself greeted by a rather lackluster decor that seems to be stuck in a bygone era, with dim lighting and furniture that doesn’t quite match the culinary ambition of the kitchen. The atmosphere lacks the vibrant energy typically associated with Indian dining, making it feel more like a casual fast-food joint than a restaurant celebrating Mughal cuisine. This disheartening setting is compounded by a service staff that can be inattentive, leading to long waits for your orders, which can be frustrating, especially when anticipation for good food runs high.

However, once the food arrives, it’s a different story altogether. Mughal Treat has gained a reputation for its mouthwatering Mughlai dishes that more than make up for the disappointing surroundings. From the rich, aromatic biryanis to tender kebabs and flavorful curries, the culinary experience is undoubtedly the highlight of your visit. 1. Sincere Request: Never order biriyani and lime soda here. The worst biriyani, I had eaten in last 10 years. Its a yellow small rice soaked in colorful oil and contains white colored boiled meat pieces. We as a family could not take a bite of it. Probably the road sides Ambur is much better in terms of taste, price, and better hygiene (It costs 270+Tax = 285). Finally we had to leave the non editable biriyani and headed to to Biriyani zone for the dinner.

2. Best and Must try was: Angara Chickens - Absolutely recommended.

3. Be mindful while ordering Lime Soda - It contains green cut chilies - Its more spicy then sweet and salt

4. Restaurant Stinks badly (May be it was on this day). Dinner for Family - Well recommend much better places around at the same value for money, ambiance, much better hospitality and a dining pleasure. Here the staff has only one target - Order your food fast, eat faster, pay fastest and walk out....Very unprofessional

Never again in life time. I wish all the best for the restaurant. I spent 1500 bucks for 3 and we walk out half filled stomach with agony on my decision for a dinner here.
