East Delicious is a hidden gem near Kundalahalli Gate and I don't recollect how many times I have gotten their delicious Chinese food home delivered , through Swiggy Tech and sometimes by directly visiting their tiny little restaurant, nestled in a quaint lane next to Family Mall. The menu is quiet wide with Chinese and Thai delicacies, and we have tried their soups, dim sums, lollypops, drums of heaven....... well you get the point. But the absolute family favourites are the Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian versions of their Man chow Fried Rice and Dragon Chopsuey. So much that I have them on my Swiggy Speed Dial, when the decision comes to what to order for Friday Dinners, the only choice that comes on top is East Delicious. All I have to do it, go to my Swiggy Tech app, go to my past orders and do a 'Repeat Order'.
There is something yummy about this Man Chow Fried Rice, be it the little additions of stir fried noodles that is added to the fried rice, or be it the Man Chow gravy that is served alongside. It's an absolute marvel on the plate, the portion sizes are so huge that 2 people with decent appetite can savour it without complaining. But not me, with my huge appetite I need the Man Chow Fried Rice to be followed up with a spicy and flavoured Dragon Chopsuey. Between an American Chopsuey, which is slightly spicy sweet, and Chinese Chopsuey, which is slightly bland and flavourful, the Dragon Chopsuey is a perfect balance between the two and tops the list of best chopsuey's I have ever had. The sour spicy gravy, loaded with veggies (and meat) on a bed of crispy noodles is just yumm, and a perfect way to end a meal that you don't need anything else on your tummy, leave alone any dessert. That could be the reason that we have never had or tried any desserts from East Delicious, ever. Yes, a portion of Man Chow Fried Rice and Dragon Chopsuey is good enough for a family of 3.
But I must mention that though their Dim sums are over priced (only slightly), the accompanied sauce makes it worth every penny, so...
Read moreThey looked managed in terms of order though being a little over crowded. A small siting area. Coming to the food, the noodles are the best served in this part of Bangalore. Inexpensive to the pocket, superb on taste.
+++Food #DrumsOfHeaven :: Fantastic. Very Crisp and saucy. Chinese lovers will enjoy this. The coating on the lollypop is a little on the thicker side. But the punch in the sauce give this a 5/5👌.
#ChillyGarlicNoodles: The portion served was huge. The taste was too good. The best part they make use of the thin noodles. Be careful of the quantity prior to ordering.
#FriedMomo(MunchurianSauce): The momo were steamed. Then it went to frying and then tossed up in munchurian sauce. A suggestion eat this quickly as it tends to get hard with time. On taste very yumm. Something diffrent. Do give this a try.
#ChickenMomo::You will feel the diffrence. Very moist and it pleases your taste buds. Too good.
I am excited to visit again to try...
Read moreFirst things first : If you are looking for a fancy/nice ambiance then this is not the place for you. It is a small restaurant with few tables inside and couple of more outside. When seated inside, it gives out a better sense of hygiene. I liked the way they tried to accommodate all those artworks in the store say, the gramophone, the hanging paper lantern lamps, the guitar on the wall, the opened Chinese handheld fan and few portraits. This is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the neighborhood. I loved their Veg Dumplings/Momos. The Paneer Manchurian which comes under veg starters is also a must try. They accept wallet payments as well as cards. Once we had ordered for Veg Paneer Manchurian and they served chicken Manchurian 'cos of this we didn't go to this place for next few weeks. That was a very bad experience about this place for me and my friend. That kept aside, we still visit this place and have their...
