SAI FOODS — Restaurant in Bengaluru

As we were passing by AECS layout on Sunday morning, we decided to have breakfast and a north Indian breakfast at that🙂..

A quick Google map review check led us to this restaurant.

First impressions..

Very spacious, well lit and neat restaurant

As it was first time, we ordered a few items (chole batura and paneer paratha with raita) to check the taste..

They take their time even if the place has less crowd..if they could serve quickly that mean this place gets 5 stars

Taste is very good and food portions are more than sufficient...for folks who like to have a north Indian breakfast..do try the items here..see photos for menu items..

Rates are very reasonable for the breakfast items..Items from thali to single portion meals are available for people whose eating portions vary

Hand Wash area is clean.

Until 11AM only parathas, puris and raita are available.. after 11 all items in menu card are available..

No South Indian items available

Timings are from 9am to 9pm everyday

Parking is available at the basement(quite a slope but manageable)...roadside no space for parking..will need to be a couple of...

Kindly pls dont visit this hotel, its really very worst, they are having 100s of dishes but 3-4 different tastes only ... I have ordered veg pulav and veg biriyani as its there in their menu, 100 and 110 rs respectively but they gave same dish in name of two different varieties.. Only time in my life i hated taste of pulav is in sai foods, pulav were very dry, all I felt is just chilli powder..a hotel can cook food in their style but they should also check customers are liking that or not...serving staff behaviours are even worst as if they serve for free, they dont even look your face and ask what i wanted, they notices each and everything in that place except the customers whom they attends at the moment ,their body language seems literally like they serves food for free in that hotel... I guess management should train them better...Infact I was having my lunch there and complained ,no proper response & explanation.... Staff response atleast could have made me cool.. But their worst response made me to tell the truth about sai foods in...

I have been eating at this place for many years. However, now its sad to see that the quality of food and service has really gone down. The place has grown from a small size restaurant to a very large size one. And price of the items have gone up, a bit ofcourse, which comes with growth. The ordering and delivering style has changed. I was not sure if the waiters have understood to deliver as they did not take the receipt, neither anyone came by to serve. The waiting time has increased, for roti meal also. They delivered after almost 15 mins. Previously there used to be chutney and chillies etc on every table. Now, even if its not there, there is somehow no one to ask. And the taste of the food has come down. I was a bit dissappointed as this used to be one of our go to places and now, we are not enjoying this place any more. The prices have become like any other restaurant now. Nothing...
