New Udupi Grand — Restaurant in Bengaluru

This place offers a lot of south indian vegetarian tiffin and meal options..evenings, you also get North Indian food options..reasonably priced and food is served fast..if you are looking for fast food or takeway..this hotel is a good option..if you are looking for a sit and eat option..very less number of seats and weekends it gets crowded..chats are just okay..what you should try are South Indian tiffin items or rice based items or even curries( taste and portion size is always good)

Even after a year, tried curries and rice items..taste has not changed and food is still served hot!!

Update Dec2023 Had fried rice and my brother had Jeera rice.. Taste has changed.. Noticed cooks have changed.. Rice tastes bland as if it were half cooked and mixed with salt and oil.. Felt bad that this restaurant which I had been visiting from 7-8years back is serving...

Very very rude behaviour os service staff, he litterally fought with me, behaved as if he is going to hit, just because I asked to serve little fast as I have to drop my kid at school. He threw the bill on my face saying nahi detaa hoon bhaag yahan se and startes abusing in Kanada. Cashier uncle is also worthless all of them are rude and not polite atall. I think owner should take carebof this. This particular servuce staff I have seen even misbehaving others as well. His face looks like he is always ready to fight with others. Looks like these people have hired some saddist staffs at low pay. Very much...

Today we bought "Mashroom biriyani" for 160 rs including parcel charges from Udupi, but the food was spoiled, the rice was sticky and used bad oil in the biriyani. We got a replacement but it's not about the replacement or refund , the thing is if we are going to Udupi it means we have trust in the brand "Udupi". We regularly order from there but this time successfully wasted 160rs and lost the trust. Not satisfied with the service, atleast they should have said sorry.
