Gabbar Chai - Gunjur — Restaurant in Bengaluru

I recently visited Gabbar Chai Restaurant, and it turned out to be a pleasant experience overall, with a few areas that could use improvement. The first thing that stood out was the ambience. The place has a vibrant, modern vibe with stylish furniture, great lighting, and a clean, well-maintained environment. It’s the kind of café where you’d love to sit and relax with friends or even bring a laptop to work for a bit.

We ordered tea, samosas, and French fries, and I must say the taste did not disappoint. The tea was rich and perfectly brewed – a true treat for chai lovers. The samosas were crisp on the outside and flavorful inside, served hot and fresh. The French fries were golden, crunchy, and lightly salted – simple but well-made. It’s clear they focus on quality ingredients and proper preparation.

However, the biggest downside was the slow service. From taking the order to getting the food on the table, it took longer than expected, even though it wasn’t overly crowded. This might be a concern for people in a hurry or on a short break.

Overall, Gabbar Chai offers great food and a fantastic atmosphere, but faster service would make the experience even better. Still, I’d visit again for the chai and...

Their service is getting worse and worse day-by-day. Their staff doesn’t listen to you. Their service is so worse that you order something and it takes so much time for them that they will come back and ask you again for order. No co-ordination among staff and it just takes forever for an order as simple as a cup of tea. You just ask them for a menu and it may take them forever to bring it and when they do, that might not be the one you asked for. Me and my roommates were their regular customers. We used to go there 3-4 times a day but it has become so irritating now that we do not want to go there anymore.

I am writing this review and still haven’t received my tea yet and the other tables have got their food already. You can imagine the service quality now.

If you are looking for a better tea at even better price, I would suggest you ‘The Banaras Cafe’. Such an amazing tea and the guy who prepares it takes your suggestions very seriously. Better in every way like price...

Response after a week: I gave them a very strong feedback below. Within 2 weeks they fixed the place. This time it was cleaner, mosquito/fly free. There are very few people who take feedback seriously and change it. Sanjay the waiter here was very receptive and Gabba chai is back to its glory. Thank you for making it possible.

Full of mosquito & flies. The waiters are ruining an amazing place. I feel extremely sorry for the owner who has invested so much. Have thought through so well. Please replace all your useless waiters, we are literally requesting to put a coil to avoid mosquito & bugs. He ignores and goes off. This is for Gunjur place. We love Gabbar chai, the menu & place. But pathetic service...
