Onesta Yelahanka — Restaurant in Bengaluru

So here's my experience of this place when I visited it on 26th December. I had booked for two before visiting, but didn't get any call or email regarding that. When I visited the place, no one was there to greet me and take me to my table, unlike before pandemic when they were greeting customers as soon as they enter and directing us to our tables, etc. I got seated, and one guy came to take our orders. He took our order and just went away. He didn't even pour us water. Then I saw them making our food, since it is an open kitchen like before, literally no one was wearing masks and gloves. And no one had the head cover in the kitchen. I was shocked. Such a reputed restuarant, and this is what happened after it has been passed to a different owner. I heard from the manager here that the owner of onesta have been changed, so I was worried about the food quality and taste, that it might have gone down since after the pandemic, and it was true. The food quality, menu choices and taste, all three do not meet atleast 50% standard like it was before. Menu choices were narrowed down to 60-70% of dishes compared to before, prices have gone up for unlimited menu. And the taste doesn't meet atleast 30% lime it was before. I am referring to the taste of the entire menu excluding desserts. After having dinner, as usual we paid the bill and we came out of the restaurant disappointed.

My final conclusion is if you have visited before and want to visit again, I am 100% sure that you will be very disappointed by their service, cleanliness, taste and pricing. Instead me personally would choose other buffets which one can get for similar or even lesser price. For people who didn't try Onesta before, can give it a try, since there is no other restaurant with similar buffet for such a price.

(I forgot to take the pic of the new menu, they have reduced the choices of pizzas, taken out ravioli and lasagna from the menu, and increased the price for unlimited entire menu to Rs.649 for veg and I guess Rs.699...

There were few new items from the time I had last dined at an Onesta like the Chaat style pizza and the makhni pasta which was good. The pasta sauce though was stuck to the hot pan leaving it dry and less saucy. We had to ask for extra salt as all the pizzas and pasta had not enough salt. They have a policy where the unlimited pizza and unlimited veg menu cannot be ordered from a single table. Which means, on a table of four two People ordering unlimited veg buffet while two others order unlimited pizza is not allowed. This concept gives room for a lot of wastage as per me. Also on a table, if two people ordered unlimited veg buffet but wouldn't eat as much, will still guarantee them 649 plus taxes whereas their a la carte order wouldn't fetch Onesta much in terms of a per cover charge. Staff were courteous however tied by rules. Also the rule of different types of unlimited pizza/veg buffet ordering from a single table is not mentioned on their menu whereas it should be. As a fairly new outlet in Yelahanka, social distancing norms could have been easily followed since it is a huge space but not so many people. Best for friends/colleagues for treat Unlimited Pizza(Veg) with Reasonable Cost

Almost we tried 6 Non-Veg variants & 4 Veg variants. All pizza variants are good, Can give 70/100.. Selective Veg pizza variants unlimited with some few terms & conditions with add-on.

The place is neat n clean with less people around I like the atmosphere very chill. It’s best place to gup shup with friends and extra cheeZe buster capsicum pizza with soft drink make the mood more delightful.

The staff help to make the order with proper ingredients and well in time. It was another great experience with them as followed with choco lava cake which make the whole mood cuppy on cake. I love the cake and pizza of this place have its own space in mind.

As feel like good food and self service which don’t make you feel any thing away In terms of staff attitude also is always respective. There is no doubt in terms of pizza and choco lava cake this is the first place strick in mind. I love the place and suggested to friends after that few times visited and now staff know my name to. And must say its full value of money under nice presentation of food and ambience. That too one of the successful food chain in India after Dominos / Mc Donald’s.
