Ultimate South Indian restaurant, it is budget specific and serves value for money, your love for South Indian food starts here, I have been in Bangalore since 2007 but never got this level of fresh South Indian items for example Idli melts in the mouth, Vada is piping hot and served even in late evenings, my personal like is Parotha with Korma (any North Indian) will go for two portions as it is extremely tasty and resembles to lacha parantha served hot,
Their fast moving items on menu are absolutely fresh and hot, infact there is nothing more tasty that to enjoy Bangalore rains and weather alongwith a hot wada-sambhar,
Staff and Cahier are very courteous they attend to all customers, due to huge demand it may be crowded but will make other competition outlets to shut shop soon, I went there first time looking at the crowd there, all the best to Pooja Dosa Camp, I rate it as a daily place to visit for home style south indian vegetarian options which is priced at very pocket friendly terms.
A must visit South Indian joint in...
Read moreI would rate the restaurant as 4 out of 5. Note: This restaurent offers you Tamil Nadu style of South Indian food. Price: Economical. One can have a full tummy with Rs 50. Taste: I would give 8 out of 10. Overall you will like the taste of each and everything. Idli, vada, sambhar, white chutney and red chutney, khara bhat, pongal and dosa. Sambhar taste is very yummy, pure tamil nadu taste.
Cons: They could have made a small sitting arrangement as well. As of now, one has to stand and eat. Second, they should serve green chutney also. Thirdly, they could have kept Kesari bhath and Tea/Coffee in their menu.
This restaurent provides similar taste as that of SENDHOOR CAFE/COFFEE. Sendhoor cafe is little better than Pooja Dosa camp.
Conclusion: I would strongly recommend POOJA DOSA CAMP. I can visit this place everyday for a light and...
Read morePooja Dosa Camps is a hit with locals.. Specially bachelors.. Eat or take away.. Both works well.. 😜 As mentioned by another person, people misuse the takeaway sambar, chutney and kurma which are kept as unlimited self serve options.. They take home large quantities of them, maybe to have with rice they have cooked at home perhaps.. 🤔🙄 I tried idli vada and pongal, they were good but nothing special. The coconut chutney was runny.. The tomato kurma and sambar was watery. That is when i realized why the owners don't mind the large takeaway quantities. At 15/- vada and idli at 12/- per piece.. Its not as cheap as some made it out to be.. It would have been nicer if coffee or tea was available too.. 👉 Also you need to bring containers...
