I recently visited the place and was absolutely impressed – from the moment I stepped in till the last bite on my plate.

I tried their Momo Special, and without a doubt, it was one of the best momos I’ve ever had. The momo skin was soft and perfectly steamed, and the filling was juicy, fresh, and full of flavor. The spicy chutney and warm soup that came along were just incredible. You could tell everything was made fresh – and with love.

Along with the momos, I tried their dry fry chicken and local-style noodles. Both were delicious and well-balanced. The chicken was crispy on the outside, soft inside, and full of local spice. The noodles had that perfect stir-fried taste – not too oily, just perfectly cooked.

What truly made the experience special was the staff service. The team here is polite, attentive, and genuinely warm. They check on you with a smile, suggest dishes confidently, and make sure your dining experience is smooth from start to finish.

Most importantly, I have to mention the stars behind the kitchen: Chef Sukden Lepcha and Sedrick Lepcha.

Despite being a small place, Rong’s Delights gives a five-star experience in every way – be it food, service, cleanliness, or ambience. The prices are also very reasonable for the quality you receive.

I recently had dinner at Rong's Delight, and it was a delightful experience blending both Chinese and North Indian flavors under one roof.

Starting with the Chinese dishes, the flavors were bold and well-balanced. The sauces had just the right amount of spice and umami, and the vegetables and meats were cooked to perfection—not too oily, which is a big plus. The fried rice ,Manchurian hit peper chicken were particularly flavorful, offering a good fusion twist without compromising authenticity.

Moving on to the North Indian cuisine, the gravies were rich and aromatic, with a satisfying depth of flavor. Whether it was a paneer dish or something like butter chicken or dal makhani, the spices were well-blended, and the naan was soft and fresh. The portion sizes were generous, making it great for sharing.

I haven’t had Thai Green curry from anywhere else to set a bench mark. But trust me when I say this, the Thai agreen curry served here is just sooo amazing. Paired with the white rice is just a best weekend dinners for you to have. The Honey chilly fried chicken was super crispy and sumptuous. The place is a little cramped with only seating for 8 at a time, but the quality of the food and the service just makes us ignore all that.
