Sangam sweets in yelahanka is a sweet shop with other types of chats served here. The place is just has very good ambience and it has seating outdoor. The place is known for its speciality sweets. But I just had pani puri and vada pav here just for a quick evening bite. The pani puri was just like a local mumbai special type and the puri were crispy and the pani was completely different which is like the mumbai special pani and not anywhere compared to pani made in bangalore. The taste was also good and was spicy which was packed with all the flavours. Then the vada pav is the regular aloo bonda placed inside a pav and served with green chilli covered in salt. The vada pav with chilli will give you spicy feels and was good enough for a quick bite. This place also has many branches around the city. Parking is available outside the place. Food - 4/5 Ambience - 4/5 Service - 4/5 Price -...
Read moreI like quite a few food items here. Patra, Khandvi, barik sev, panipuri puri's are good. I have not tried their sweets and chat items but they do maintain a good hygiene and decent quality of ingredients. The availability of the items is not reliable though. Sometimes when I go there at 11:00, they say patra and khandvi are over and not available. Last week, I went there at 9:30 am and I was told that patra, khandvi and dhokla are not available and will arrive at 10:30. Btw - dhokla is good but soaked in sugar syrup so I avoid it. So far only Gujju Mummy offers authentic Dhokla without any sugar syrup. Service is inconsistent. If the lady at the cash counter serves you then it's nice. The other folks will ignore the customer to the extent possible. (all my observations are from my morning visits. Evening could be a...
Read moreI recently visited Sangam Sweets located in Prestige Plaza, Yelahanka New Town, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560065, where I sampled their masala puri and bhel puri, both of which were disappointing. The masala puri lacked flavor and resembled a curry meant for chapathi or roti rather than a proper snack. Priced at 100 INR, it felt overpriced for the small portion and unappetizing taste.
The bhel puri was equally unsatisfactory, and I found it difficult to provide any positive feedback on it. Overall, the experience with both dishes left much to be desired, and I wouldn't recommend them based on my visit.
Additionally, the cashier's demeanor was off-putting. He appeared rushed and was unhelpful when I had questions. Given the poor food quality and service, I have no intention of returning to this...
