Taste Authenticity: "Sarpanch da Dhaba" delivers an authentic taste of Punjab, embracing the rich culinary traditions of the region. From the moment you walk in, the aromas of freshly cooked dal makhani, tandoori meats, and a selection of perfectly balanced dishes greet you. The food is hearty, flavorful, and true to the roots of Punjabi cuisine. The curries are packed with spices, balanced perfectly with a smooth, creamy texture. The tandoori dishes are beautifully cooked, with just the right amount of smokiness, and the naan is soft and fluffy—just like it should be. Despite the menu being limited, they’ve achieved the perfect combination of starters and main course items, ensuring that every dish complements the next, creating a well-rounded and satisfying dining experience.

Service: The service at "Sarpanch da Dhaba" is warm, friendly, and genuine. The staff is well-trained, attentive, and eager to explain the dishes and recommend options, especially for those new to Punjabi cuisine. While the atmosphere is casual, there is a strong sense of hospitality, a signature of Punjabi culture. They make sure that every guest is well taken care of, and the food arrives promptly without feeling rushed.

Owner Behaviour: The owner of "Sarpanch da Dhaba" is a true representation of Punjabi warmth and hospitality. You can often spot them interacting with customers, ensuring they’re enjoying their meal, and even sharing stories behind some of the dishes. Their passion for Punjabi food and culture is evident in every aspect of the restaurant, from the décor to the food itself. The owner's attention to detail in maintaining both the authenticity of the food and the welcoming atmosphere adds an extra personal touch to the experience.

Overall: "Sarpanch da Dhaba" is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Punjabi food. The combination of great food, excellent service, and the owner’s genuine involvement makes it a standout spot. Whether you're a Punjabi food enthusiast or trying it for the first time, the experience here will leave you feeling satisfied and connected to the rich...

We decided to try this place and arrived around 12:30 PM. The place was empty, with only one other party seated besides us. We ordered a few starters and some main course dishes. Below is a list of things I liked and aspects that disappointed me:

Liked: Place is roof top and quite spacious Beautiful and vibrant decor

Disappointed with : Service was too slow and there were so many servers standing but we had to ask multiple times for multiple things It was so hot and we requested for fan but there was no response from the team There are no drinks available except buttermilk/ Lassi so if you don’t drink that then water is the only choice

Coming to the items that we ordered:

Garlic naan - Very dry and we didnt get garlic flavour in the Naan Missi and kadak roti- Decent taste Special daal- This is listed as special daal but it was bland in taste. The salt was less , again couldnt taste spices in it Paneer butter masala - Creamy and sweet in taste so if you dont have spice tolerance and like Paneer then go for this . Personally we didnt like it. Masala Papad- Filled with onions and tasted bland . Had to send it back and requested them to add tomatoes and coriander. Then we added salt and lemon later so we can finish it . Corn chataka- This one was good Pahadi chicken tikka- Crispy , flovourful Butter milk and lassi - this was...

I recently visited Sarpanch da Dhaba for the second time, hoping for a better experience, but unfortunately, it turned out to be quite disappointing.

We had ordered Paneer Lajavab with some Nans, but to our surprise, they served us Chicken Lajavab by mistake. Though they did replace the main course upon pointing it out, the Nans they had initially served had become stale and cold by then. When I politely requested fresh Nans, the server showed a dismissive attitude, insisting we “try it once” explaining the nans are not that cold.

After further insisting, the server reluctantly replaced only one Nan instead of two and returned with more attitude than service. Upon explaining the mistake again, they finally sent the missing Nan — but not without making us feel as though we were being unreasonable for expecting fresh food and basic courtesy.

This entire experience left a very negative impression on me and my family. Even after paying the bill, I felt compelled to report this to the owner at reception.

Given the poor customer service, lack of accountability, and overall disappointing experience, I will not be visiting again, nor would I recommend Sarpanch da Dhaba to anyone who values respectful service and a pleasant...

The atmosphere was pleasant, but the service was disappointing. It didn’t feel like a typical Punjabi Dhaba. I suspect that most of the employees are from Sikkim, and they may have missed the mark in bringing authentic Punjabi flavors to the dishes. The food preparation time was excessive, taking around 45 minutes. We ordered a variety of dishes, including Cream Of Tomato Soup, Crispy Corn Chatkara, Butter Roti, Paneer Butter Masala, and Sweet Lassi. However, the order arrived in a strange order: Sweet Lassi, Butter Roti, Paneer Butter Masala, Crispy Corn Chatkara, and then Cream Of Tomato Soup. To make matters worse, the Cream Of Tomato Soup lacked bread pieces, and the taste was unpleasant. The Crispy Corn Chatkara appeared to be made from old stock of corn, lacking crispness and with a significantly reduced quantity. The Butter Roti and Paneer Butter Masala were merely okay. The Sweet Lassi was also disappointing. It was not thick enough and lacked the sweetness we expected. It tasted more like butter milk than authentic Punjabi sweet lassi. The serving staff’s attitude was poor. They either behaved rudely or acted deaf and dumb. Overall, this experience did not meet the standards of a typical Punjabi Dhaba.

The ambience is definitely one of the highlights – it's a beautifully designed rooftop setup that feels refreshing. However, some portions of the rooftop aren’t covered, so if it rains, guests are likely to get drenched, which can be inconvenient. Service was a mixed bag. While the food arrived quickly, getting the bill took an unexpectedly long time. Also, a word of caution – please check the water glasses before using them, as ours were not clean. Coming to the food: We ordered Malai Chicken Tikka and Paneer Tikka for starters. The paneer was soft and well-flavored, but the chicken tikka could’ve been more tender. In the main course, both Butter Chicken and Kadai Mushroom were delicious and met expectations. For dessert, I ordered a Sweet Lassi, but I was quite surprised and disappointed to be served it in a paper cup. As a Punjabi restaurant, one would expect the lassi to be served in a traditional large glass or kulhad – it really takes away from the experience. One serious concern – I noticed a cockroach in the dining area, which raises hygiene issues that need urgent attention. Overall, while the food was quite good, the place needs improvement in terms of hygiene, presentation, and service consistency.
