Biryani by Kilo - A Comprehensive Review
Ambiance and Interior Decoration: Biryani by Kilo stands out with its excellent interior decoration. The decor is stylish and modern, creating a welcoming atmosphere for diners. The roadside view adds a charming touch, making it an ideal spot for people-watching while enjoying your meal.
Food Quality and Quantity: The quality and quantity of the food are satisfactory. While the flavors are good, the rice in the biryani was slightly dry and not as soft as one would expect from a traditional biryani. However, the overall taste was enjoyable, and the portion sizes were adequate.
Service and Staff Behavior: The service at Biryani by Kilo is commendable. The staff is attentive and courteous, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor contribute positively to the restaurant’s atmosphere.
Parking: A notable downside is the parking situation. It appears to be a bit of a gamble, as there are no dedicated parking spaces provided. Diners are left to park at their own risk, which can be a concern for some.

Read moreBiryani by Kilo at Akshaynagara, Bengaluru, offers an exceptional culinary experience, particularly for biryani lovers. The biryani itself is a 5-star delight—rich, aromatic, and packed with authentic flavors. What sets it apart is the unique method of preparation; the biryani is slow-cooked from scratch in an earthen pot, which enhances its taste and gives it a traditional, rustic flavor.
A standout recommendation is the chicken korma, which is incredibly tender and full of creamy, spicy goodness. Alongside it, the ulte tawe ka paratha is a must-try—crispy, flaky, and the perfect complement to the rich curries and biryani.

Won't make your life flash before your eyes - perfectly hot. Served in a clay pot that's unsealed before service right at the table. Decent quantity of biryani for two, if you're light eaters. Served with delicious saalan and raita.
And for some strange reason, despite its name being Biryani by Kilo, the dish is not served by...kilo.
The appetiser was absolutely not worth the price. 4 little dahi ke kabab served with green chutney and raw onions is not a portion for 2 whole adults. Get another biryani instead.
Service is slow but the biryani was pretty worth it.
