Shanthi Sagar - Uttarahalli — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Visited this restaurant few weeks back . The restaurant is located in Uttarahalli near south grand . This restaurant has been around for some time , it's pretty old and has been renovated recently .

Coming to the food, I ordered north indian meals - Tomato soup - the soup was pretty good for a meals item , usually in meals the soup is diluted or tasteless but it was good here , it had rich tomato flavour and tasted fresh . 2.roti - they gave 2 roti ,which is really good . The size was also quite adequate . It was soft and had been roasted really well . Dal - it was the usual dal it was good , nothing great or exceptional about it . 4.channa curry - it was spicy and tangy , quite good with the roti . I really liked the curry . Spiced rice - it was the same as any other place , generic rice with no particular taste but atleast it tasted fresh and was hot . 6.curd rice - it tasted really fresh and was cool and tasty . 7.rasgulla - it was ok , nothing great ,nothing bad .

Overall a very satisfying meal , with some fresh and hot food . The prices were quite low and the meals is definitely worth the price . The self service ambience is pretty good , there are lot of chairs and tables and good view...

Today I had Ordered few items from Shanti Sagar, Uttarahalli, Bangalore thru Zomato. I recd.the items where the items were missing from the Cover and Bill was not attached with the Cover and I got a report that V r sorry for the Missing items. Later When I wanted to Lodge a complaint I got surprised to see that in that Order they had Mentioned only 1 part of the item and other part was not at all listed in the mentioned Order and the bill amt. Was reduced. They had Supplied wrong items, didn't stick to the cooking instructions and this is the 2nd time I have been Cheated. When I wanted the Refund of Amt.which has neither Zomato r Shanthi Sagar Staff...

Place is very congested. They will take rent of AC but turn it off without informing. There is a small room to change your dress which has a door but no lock. Not a great place for doing engagement. Even naming ceremony is difficult as it is having a very small stage which doesn't have any wall mounted fans to use even if they turn off AC's. Better not to use this place for anything unless you are calling less than 75 people. I wanted to give 1 star, but the second start is for the food they served, serving method and the cleanliness. Sorry I missed to take pics this time for...
