If you’re an idly lover in Bangalore, Shree Idly Corner is an absolute must-visit! Tucked away in a modest setup, this place proves yet again that you don’t need a fancy ambience to serve truly soul-satisfying food.
🍽️ What We Tried: • Idly – The star of the show! Soft, fluffy, perfectly steamed, and served piping hot. Each bite melts in your mouth and pairs beautifully with their flavorful chutney and sambar. One of the best idlies in Bangalore, hands down. • Shavige Bath – Light and mildly spiced, this vermicelli-based dish is a hidden gem on their menu. It’s a great choice if you’re looking for something light yet fulfilling. • Butter Masala Dosa – Rich, crispy, and indulgent. The butter enhances every bite, making it a standout dish you shouldn’t miss.
📝 Summary:
Whether it’s idly, shavige bath, or dosa, you simply can’t go wrong here. The taste is consistently amazing, and the portion sizes are generous for the price.

Read moreOne of the best Idli serving place in Bengaluru. This hole in the wall kind of place is a true gem and only few people know about this place.
They open only for few hours in the evening, with limited number of idlis. It's an absolute delight to have these tasty Idli with Highly spiced red chutney and medium spiced green chutney. A dollop of butter is must to tame the spiciness of red chutney and with the combination of all, the plate of Idli turns into piece of heaven!
I always love to visit this place after a small rainy evening, the weather adds extra taste to it.
The texture of idli is soft and smooth, each plate will consist 4 idlis and each gallop of natural butter will cost extra. This place also served Vada which I didn't like much and occasionally they serve shavige bath, which is good when it's fresh.
The owner of this place serves the food with total humbleness and no matter how many times you go to the counter to refil chuney, he refills it very happily.
Don't expect much of an ambience as it's road side eatery. Yes, there is dust pollution in this road, but the cooking area seems hygienic. If they put acrylic sheet over the counter to avoid dust, I'll definitely rate this place 5 star.
This place is cash only. And it's really difficult to find parking around for 2 wheelers. So, avoid visiting this place in...
Read moreThis tiny hole in the wall place opens up by 4:45 pm and keeps bustling with activity through the night. Popular among all for the idlies that they dish out. This simple dollop of fermented and steamed rice batter which is almost tasteless apart from the added salt, has to bank only on its texture to win hearts.. and winning my heart this idly does with it's super soft and steaming hot and butter loaded goodness. The distance of the steamer to your mouth is around 4 feet so the temperature is definitely taken care of . And the silent star is the chutney duet, a red chutney with red chillies on the left. Which gives you a slap on the left with all that red chilly heat, and then when u turn the other cheek, there was a green chutney, with the green from the green chillies. This gives you an even tighter slap on the right.. Also tried the shavige . I liked the tempering and that it was not oily or pasty, it was rather dry and fluffy. Which i really liked. The vadas were not really great, next time I'll just stick to their butter idlies and come out...
