A good place for Andhra style food. They use copper vessels for water, water cups and other dishes like Biriyani, curries and side dishes. I felt good with that. When u ask for the dishes to be spicy, they would make so. It has a mini pub inside it, on the left corner with medium range of wine and Beer, so its good for even stags get-together. But i would suggest for a good family restaurant.
It has a party hall in the 2nd floor, where we can accommodate near to 120 Pax. The ambience of the hall was nice with fully covered chairs with a golden cloth and entire lighting was in golden shade which given a nice flavor and feel to all who comes in. For food arrangements they have made buffet arrangements and we have two options in it, either we can have the buffet at end of the hall or if the the pax are little higher we can have the food arrangements outside the party hall on the free space which was owned by the same hotel. So there wont be any congestion of palce and mess for both food and party.
But its a little busy road, so need to mind about traffic. They have a parking lot separately, so their wont be any issue if we had any party over there. The staffs are really attentive and took good care, manager is really approachable and definitely we can have a nice time for both food and party. i would definitely recommend to have a nice hangover as a family...
Read moremy friend took me for a casual lunch date here. i regret not trying this restaurant sooner. it has a simple ambience. staff is very polite, quick and efficient contrary to some reviews. not peered at while eating the food. i had a very very good time. also its a good place to have your food alone comfortably without feeling awkward.
chose to go all vegetarian today. the order included veg hyderabadi biryani, kashmiri dum aloo, curd rice.
the combination was just superb. kashmiri dum aloo is very slightly sweet flavored and it is a must try dish with the delicious veggies laden biryani. curd rice though may be not as praise worthy but still good enough to end the lunch with.
no excess oil in any dish and doesnt sit heavy on the stomach, or cause a burning sensation which is a big welcome. tummy filling, a big thank you to the chef for such great food.
reminds me of the food i loved having during my stay at nagarjuna suites sometime back. this...
Read moreI am literally editing my previous rating of 5* of this place! The numerous times I have visited this place in the past was solely because of their chicken ghee roast. I had even introduced plenty of friends and colleagues to this dish.
Before last year or whenever the renovation happened: Their chicken ghee roast: Lip-smacking, perfect quantity, well-cooked, spicy, used to smell of proper ghee and masala, gave you foodgasm. The price was justified for the taste. Neer dosa- always perfectly cooked.
Now: New recipe, I guess new chef. Their chicken ghee roast: Horrible, bad zero spice masala, no taste, weird smell of ghee(we were not even sure it was ghee), overcooked chicken, and doesn't even look like ghee roast. Price definitely not justified for the taste. Neer Dosa- half uncooked.
Perfect example of when you killed your golden goose.
Ghee roast was your speciality!! Why would...
