I recently visited Black Pearl, Kadubeesanahalli, with my entire team of around 20 people for a corporate lunch/dinner, and the experience was quite impressive. If you are familiar with Barbeque Nation, this place offers a very similar dining style but with its own unique touch.

Ambiance & Seating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)

The ambiance is lively and well-lit, with pirate-themed décor that makes the place stand out. There is ample space for large groups, and despite us being a team of 20, we were comfortably seated without feeling cramped. The setup of grills on each table adds to the interactive dining experience. The restaurant manages the crowd well, so even though it was busy, the service was smooth.

Food Quality & Variety: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4.5/5)

The food quality is quite good, almost on par with Barbeque Nation, and the variety of dishes ensures there's something for everyone. The restaurant follows the live grill concept, where skewers of tandoori veggies, chicken, prawns, and fish are served directly to the table.

Live Counters: The live counters offer a range of options, including chaat, pasta, and dosa, which were freshly prepared and added a nice variation to the meal. The pani puri and tawa items were quite flavorful.

Buffet Spread: The buffet had a great mix of Indian, Asian, and Continental dishes, with rich gravies, biryanis, and an assortment of bread. The mutton and chicken dishes were well-cooked, though some of the vegetarian curries could have been spicier.

Desserts: The dessert counter was a highlight, with gulab jamun, pastries, and ice cream. The phirni was particularly good, and they also had a variety of sweets to cater to different palates.

The staff was courteous and attentive, ensuring that our grills were constantly replenished and the live counters operated efficiently. The service was prompt, even with a large group like ours.

One minor issue was that some items on the grill took a little longer to be served initially, but once they got the rhythm, the flow of food was seamless.

Pricing & Value for Money: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5)

The pricing is reasonable for an unlimited buffet experience. It offers great value for the variety and quality of food provided. The cost is similar to Barbeque Nation but slightly more affordable, making it a great option for corporate lunches, team outings, and family gatherings.

If you enjoy grill-based dining with live counters and a buffet spread, Black Pearl Kadubeesanahalli is a fantastic option. It offers good food, a lively ambiance, and efficient service, making it a strong competitor to Barbeque Nation. Perfect for team lunches, celebrations, and casual outings.

I went to 'The Black Pearl', Marathahalli with my husband and li'l kid and I must say we enjoyed it to the hilt. Trust me, we actually got transported back in time to when peg-legged bandits with eyepatch over one eye roamed the high seas. Sounds interesting, yeah?

This BBQ restaurant is based on the Pirates of Caribbean theme and I must confess that this restaurant indeed has a wondrous feel with interiors decked up like a ship and creepy pirates all over the place. Furthermore, all the chefs, serving staff and Managers there were dressed as pirates which was so cool and simply added to the theme.

The restaurant is very spacious with comfortable seating arrangements and the lighting is great. Guys, the ambience of this place is everything! It is truly great and a heaven for selfie lovers and photographers. The astounding backdrop will give you the perfect reason to click some really cool pictures with your family and friends there.

And, when it comes to food, let me tell you that they offer umpteen varieties for veg and non-veg starters, barbeques, salads and drinks. The buffet is great with lots of veg and non-veg options in the main course. Also, they have separate chat sections, live counters for pizzas, pastas etc. And there is a wide spread variety in desserts too. There are cakes, kheer, custard, icecreams and what not! The list is actually endless. Don't forget to check out their Ice gola counter which is again the highlight of this amazing place.

And yes, the serving staff and the chefs were very attentive, humble, polite, and professional which is icing on the cake.

Overall, we loved the lip smacking food, ambience and great service. We actually loved their grilled stuff a lot. The fish and chicken starters were quite delectable and juicy. And Our kid loved ice cream, pizza and french fries. We really can't wait to visit this amazing place again with our friends.

Pros:- Food options are more compared to AB's and Barbecue nation. A sound system is present which is hardly seen in a buffet kind of restaurant. Parking facilities are present but it's limited. Some of the food quality was good. For taking pics there are a lot of statues and hats which are based on pirates theme

Cons:- The first thing which i want to mention here is about the environment. Please never go here at noon time for lunch because it will be very hot and the fan will literally throw the hot air on your face. There is no AC here because of which you will literally keep on sweating while eating and you wont feel like eating the food , They have arranged so many tables because of which the whole place is suggested, In order to occupy more people at a time they are not considering its conjunction. Due to access to the rush in pick hours it's impossible to stay there for more than 1 hour, moreover the service is pathetic here. If we ask something it will take a minimum of 15 mins to come. We were literally waiting for the plates so that we could have our main course, it seems like they have a shortage of plates in their restaurants . 1 person is handling the Ice Gola and Ice cream section and there were at least 20 people waiting in queue for that which created a lot of chaos over that counter, people who wish to have icecream they will feel to sacrifice it instead of waiting in queue for mins in that hot congested environment . The complementary drinks which we ordered only filled half and that also came after 20 mins of waiting, after seeing the pace of the service we thought of not complaining .

Overall:- I wont recommend people to go here at noon time and at night also go only if the people are less or else service will be pathetic. I don feel this restaurant is worth paying 900 /- per head. This was the last time for me in Black pearl Marathahalli 😂, I hope , I won't go...
