A Cozy Culinary Delight
We recently dined at Table for Tous, and it turned out to be one of the most satisfying gourmet experiences we’ve had in a while. Every item felt thoughtfully curated, and the flavors, textures, and presentation came together to offer a memorable meal.
We started with their Biscoff Spanish Latte, which was rich, indulgent, and had that perfect hint of caramel from the Biscoff. Alongside that, the Iced Mocha was smooth, chocolatey, and refreshingly balanced — the kind of drink you’d keep sipping just to delay the end.
On the savory side, the Confit Tomato Puff Pastry Tart stood out with its flaky layers and that delightful burst of flavor from the crispy honey chili oil — equal parts comfort and spice. The Confit Tomato & Pesto Ciabatta was hearty and fresh, with the pesto adding a wonderful earthy punch that paired beautifully with the soft ciabatta. This is a must have!
To finish on a light yet flavorful note, the Savoury Choux Pastry was surprisingly satisfying — a unique savory twist on a classic French treat that worked wonderfully.
From the elegant blend of ingredients to the clear attention to flavor detail, Table for Tous truly feels like a place where food is crafted with care and intention. Whether you’re in the mood for a comforting coffee or a thoughtful gourmet bite, this place delivers warmth and quality in every bite.
Highly recommend — and definitely...
Read moreI had high expectations from this place after seeing all the rave reviews and tempting dessert pictures online. I was in Bangalore just for a day, and made it a point to visit — but unfortunately, the experience left me disappointed.
To start with, getting a parking spot was a nightmare. That said, the interiors are lovely — warm, cozy, and beautifully lit with ambient lights. The vibe definitely sets the mood right.
However, during my visit, they were out of coffee — which also meant no coffee-based desserts were available. We asked the staff for their recommendations and ended up ordering the Tiramisu and Choux.
To be honest, the Tiramisu (the most expensive dessert on the menu) was the worst I’ve had. It felt more like thick old ice cream film of condensed milk, completely off in taste and texture. The Choux, on the other hand, was pretty good.
When I politely brought up the issue with the staff and showed them how disappointing the Tiramisu was, I expected at least a small gesture — maybe a replacement or partial refund. Instead, the response was a casual “Okay, I’ll let the chef know,” which honestly felt dismissive.
Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend the place — especially given the hype. It might have been an off day, but the lack of accountability...
Read moreI'm giving this place a rating here because of how innovative they are. I really want them to get 5 stars from my side. A bakery serving fluffy Japanese cotton cheesecake, Korean buns, choux pastry, etc. made my heart flutter!
My Japanese cotton cheesecake and hazelnut chocolate choux had to travel quite a distance to reach me. I was thrilled to see how gorgeous these treats look when they arrived. Yes, in the looks department, they won top points. But then the taste...
The texture of the bakes is excellent. Cotton cheesecake is really melt-in-the-mouth kind. The cream inside the profiteroles was also v nice. However, in both dishes we could feel the smell of chlorine. I tried hard to narrow it down to the ingredient, but couldn't. The chlorine smell was more in the choux pastry than the cheesecake. We eventually found that the brown top of the cheesecake had that smell. So, we could easily peel it off and enjoy the rest. But we couldn't do that for the choux. I'm suspecting the flour or water used for baking.
I really wanted you guys to win us over; so I'm disappointed now.
I ordered from here on 21st Dec, 2023 through Swiggy. Please check if it was a problem with a specific batch.
If the chlorine smell wasn't there, it would have been 5...
